Filmele de Oscar, în mare parte ignorate de de clasament

BBC Culture a publicat săptămâna aceasta topul celor mai importante filme americane din toate timpurile, iar comentatorii s-au grăbit să observe că topul este o palmă pentru Oscaruri, pentru că numai 12 dintre câştigătorii statuetei pentru Cel mai bun film şi-au făcut apariţia în top. Mai mult, 60 dintre cele 100 de filme nici măcar nu au fost nominalizate la această categorie a premiilor Oscar, notează Deadline.com.

Topul a fost realizat cu ajutorul a 62 de critici din întreaga lume, iar scopul său este să ofere o perspectivă globală cu privire la influenţa filmului american. Prima concluzie ce se poate trage observând diferenţele gigantice dintre voturile Academiei Americane de Film şi poziţia criticilor internaţionali este că în mare parte câştigătorii Oscar nu rezistă testului timpului.

Filmul Pe aripile vântului/Gone with the Wind, considerat încă din deceniul premierei o producţie creată exact pe gusturile votanţilor la Oscar, se regăseşte în topul mondial de-abia pe locul 97.
