Aclamatul debut in regie al cantaretului Ahmir „Questlove” Thompson e un documentar puternic si captivant - parte film-concert, parte consemnare a unui eveniment istoric de proportii care a sarbatorit mostenirea, cultura si moda afro-americana. Pe parcursul a sase saptamani, in vara anului 1969, la doar 160 de kilometri sud de Woodstock, Harlem Cultural Festival a fost filmat in Mount Morris Park (acum Marcus Garvey Park). Nevazute niciodata, imaginile au fost uitate in mare masura - pana acum.
