Tilda Swinton va păşi pe 16 mai pe covorul roşu de la Cannes, în deschiderea festivalului de anul acesta, cu filmul Moonrise Kingdom, iar de vineri o vom vedea în cinematografele româneşti în drama We Need to Talk About Kevin. Cu trăsături ale feţei izbitoare şi o înălţime de 1,79, Tilda e înzestrată şi cu un imens talent actoricesc. În We Need To Talk About Kevin, Swinton dă intensitate dramei personajului. Ea joacă rolul Evei Katchadourian, mama lui Kevin, un copil devenit asasin în adolescenţă. Singură şi marginalizată social, cu un fiu în închisoare, Eva rememorează în flashback-uri evenimentele care au condus la tragedie.
