Carl Switzer, pe numele complet Carl Dean Switzer, cunoscut și cu numele de Alfalfa Switzer, a fost actor care s-a născut la data de 07.08.1927, în Paris, Illinois, și care a decedat la data de 21.01.1959, în Mission Hills, California. Părinții săi au fost Gladys C. Shanks și George Frederick Switzer. Au fost patru frați în familia cu origini scoțiene și germane.
