Filmul a fost realizat intr-o locatie de exceptie, aflata sub protectoratul UNESCO, si anume in Uzbekistan, la Samarkand şi Bukhara.
Micutul camran care in prezent traieste in SUA, afla ca este descendentul unei figuri de legenda din Persia, Omar Khayyam.
Regizorul si totodata scenaristul Kayvan Mashayekh ne plimba in trecut si in prezent pana ce ne dezvaluie intreaga viata a personajului principal. Din film aflam si originea substantivului asasin care se trage din numele lui Hassan Sabbah, fondatorul sectei care avea sa-i poarte numele. Un film ce merita vazut.
