Sinopsis

John Rambo, un fost membru al Beretelor Verzi si erou al razboiului din Vietnam, este acum prizonier intr-o inchisoare federala, desi este nevinovat de acuzatiile aduse.

Noi vesti despre un grup de soldati, disparuti in timpul luptelor din razboiul cu Vietnam-ul, indica faptul ca acestia sunt inca in viata dar sunt tinuti prizonieri. Colonelul Trautman este autorizat sa il elibereze din inchisoare pe Rambo si sa ii incredinteze misiunea de salvare a celor cativa supravietuitori.

Rambo este singurul care ar putea patrunde in spatele liniilor inamice, singurul capabil sa duca la bun sfarsit misiunea...
