30.09.2006 Horia Brenciu va debuta in lumea serialelor de televiziune in rolul unui tatã vaduv cu patru copii, in sitcomul "Om sarac, om bogat", ce va fi difuzat de Pro TV în aceasta toamna. Pentru acest rol Horia Brenciu are un nou look: pãr grizonat si barbã, informeazã Pro Tv. "De la prima repetitie, cei patru copii au inceput sã mã strige «tata» si pentru o perioada buna de timp, asta o sã le si fiu. Nu-mi displace deloc postura si vreau s-o iau în serios. Campanie de imagine HBO
29.09.2006 Incepand cu 1 octombrie HBO va lansa prima sa campanie de imagine creata special pentru Romania. 14.09.2006 Will Weisz return for Mummy 3? Oscar Winner Rachel Weisz isn’t ruling out appearing in the recently announced second sequel to “The Mummy”. The “Constant Gardener” star tells Ecran Large that although she hasn’t read the script yet, she definitely wants to be involved in the film. "I know there's a new script but I haven't read it yet. Nothing's definite yet and should the film be done, it's probably going to happen next summer. And if so, I would definitely like to be in it". Weisz’s character is in the script – which was written by "Smallville" creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar – so it’d be a shame if she didn’t return. Actor Leonard Nimoy, best known as the pointy-eared Vulcan in the “Star Trek” saga, tells The Toronto Sun that Paramount has spoken to him – and Bill Shatner - about being involved in J.J Abrams’ new “Trek” film. Creative consultant? Executive producer? Casting approval? Duet for the end credits? Nope, seems, Nimoy and Shatner might be back to reprise their roles as the ‘older’ Spock and Kirk, respectively, for the new prequel film – if even briefly. Hughes teams with Rocky Balboa
02.01.2006 Irish actress Geraldine Hughes – who has been putting bums on seats with her one woman show “Belfast Blues” in the big apple – has joined the cast of “Rocky Balboa”. Hughes ("Duplex") is playing Marie, the new girl in The Italian Stallion's life. (Well, not in a kielbasa between the sheets kinda-sense, but in a ‘she’s down and out – I’ll lend her a hand’ way.). “Little” Marie, as you may recall, was a character that appeared in the first film. Now, she’s in her forties, has a son, and has a quickly diminishing bank balance. The all-round good guy that he is, Rocko offers Marie and her son jobs in his restaurant. 17.12.2005 Seems there’s enough hairy man-suits left unblemished from “Underworld 2” that the director is already talking up a third instalment. Len Wiseman, writer/director of the two “Underworld” films, says he’s already brainstorming a second sequel. "Yeah, we have piles and piles of notes and everything," Wiseman tells Sci Fi Wire. In film, locuiotarele unei manastiri de maicute din Canada sarbatoresc sosirea vacantei de Craciun, cand o fetita de 13 ani este gasita moarta intr-un parc. Curand se va descoperi ca una dintre maicute lipseste, ceea ce aduce cu sine un lant de crime teribile in manastire. Black Christmas va fi scris, regizat si produs de echipa James Wong si Glen Morgan. 23.10.2005 Pe Demi Moore am vazut-o mai mult prin ziarele de scandal si la stirile despre vedete decat pe marile ecrane in ultima vreme. De la Charlies Angels : Full Throttle, frumoasa bruneta s-a ocupat mai mult cu treburi personale si mai putin cu filmul. Acum, proaspata doamna Kutcher declara ca a semnat un contract pentru "primul ei rol dramatic" (dar cel din The Scarlett Letter/Litera stacojie ce fel de rol o fi?) si ca “abia asteapta sa castige premii Oscar si tot tacamul" cu acest nou rol. Ea se mai gandeste si la un remake dupa Mildred Pierce, filmul clasic din 1943 care i-a adus un premiu Oscar lui Joan Crawford pentru interpretare. 14.10.2005 Frumoasa bruneta care l-a cucerit pe Russell Crowe in A Beautiful Mind, Jennifer Connelly este in negocieri cu producatorii de la Warner Bros. Pictures pentru a juca alaturi de Leonardo DiCaprio in thrillerul dramatic The Blood Diamond. Filmul va fi regizat de Edward Zwick (Glory) iar povestea este aceea a unui fermier african sarac, care ajunge sa fie prins intr-un conflict dintre un traficant de diamante american, (rol ce va fi interpretat de Leo DiCaprio) si sindicatul care controleaza industria miniera locala de diamante. Povestea a fost scrisa de Charles Leavitt si C. Gaby Mitchell, iar scenariul e scris de Leavitt impreuna cu regizorul Zwick si scenaristul Marshall Herskovitz. ... citeşte
Jack Black rocks the space
28.06.2004 Se pare ca proiectele science-fiction sunt in voga. Dupa ce Harrison Ford a semnat pentru un rol intr-un astfel de film, Jack Black (cunoscut din High Fidelity sau cel mai recent School of Rock), este interesat de un asemenea proiect. El va juca in filmul Master of Space and Time. Scenariul este scris de Rudy Rucker, iar filmul va fi regizat de Michael Gondry. Se pare ca proiectul va fi lansat de studiourile DreamWorks. Anul trecut compania de productie franceza Midi Minuit, a licitat drepturile de autor pentru Master of Space and Time. Povestea este aceea a doi oameni de stiinta nebuni, care au descoperit cum sa controleze realitatea. Acum DreamWorks negociaza drepturile cu Midi Minuit. 22.09.2001 Filmul indian "Monsoon Wedding" cucereste Venetia "Monsoon Wedding", povestea unei mirese indiene, care se razgindeste in pragul casatoriei aranjate, a cucerit inimile juriului Festivalului de Film de la Venetia. Regizat de Mira Nair, realizatoarea unei pelicule nominalizate la Oscar in 1988 - "Salaam Bombay" - filmul, care a cucerit anul acesta Leul de Aur este in parte un documentar social, in parte o comedie dramatica, aducind in discutie subiecte delicate, cum ar fi incestul. Este pentru prima oara, cind India sau o femeie cuceresc acest mare premiu la Bienala de la Venetia. "Sunt foarte incintata pentru India.
