Apropo de horror-ul comedie: Dellamorte Dellamore (unic!), Survive Style 5 Plus, Masque of the red death (varianta din '64), personal as adauga si Ginger Snaps (2000) ca si cult classic.

nu am vazut Dellamorte Dellamore dar fiind regizat de Soavi sigur e foarte bun

The Masque of the Red Death neaparat (doar ca nu prea e comedie)...una din piesele de rezistenta din filmografia lui Corman

ne mutam la cineastii italieni

cel mai cunoscut este Dario Argento, ale carui filme sunt pline de elemente hitchcockiene...este unul din putinii care stiu sa exploateze sentimentul de friica la maxim, propunand a lume angoasanta in care suspansul atinge cote maxime, dureroase

intram in universul bolnav al lui Fulci, pt care foarte multi fani horror au facut deja un cult, insa nu pt ca Fulci ar fi un mare regizor ci pt elementele gore si atmosfera terifianta, sufocanta de multe ori, care ii caracterizeaza filmele din genul asta

Why? Doar pentru ca poate fi incadrat la mai multe genuri, nu inseamna ca nu "functioneaza". Mie mi se pare extrem de reusit si ca thriller si ca horror.

"Repulsion" este un horror prin excelentä - si de excelentä. Un film de continut, totodatä, care-si transcende constrângerile stricte de "gen". Personal, nu m-a dat pe spate - dar asta nu înseamnä sä nu-i recunosc valoarea, pe ambele planuri.

"The Silence of the Lambs" nu inträ la horror nici mort, oricum l-ai lua. E un foarte bun detective-thriller psihologic.
