Sinopsis Gunsmoke: The Last Apache

James Arness apare din nou în rolul lui Matt Dillon, șeriful federal american pe care l-a făcut popular în serialul TV din 1955-75. În acest film, el urmărește un apaș renegat pe nume Wolf (Joe Lara) care i-a luat fiica prizonieră. Ca monedă de schimb, Dillon îi ajută pe doi fii ai șefului apaș Geronimo să iasă din palisada fortului și îi oferă ca schimb. Dillon este ajutat de un cercetaș al armatei, Chalk Brighton (Kiley).
