Rusty (SHAWN HATOSY) si amicul sau, Dallas (SCOTT CAAN), au mereu parte de belele si mereu ajung la inchisoare. Fara intelegerea mamei lui Rusty, Mary (KELLY LYNCH), cei doi n-ar mai fi iesit in veci de la inchisoare. Nesuportand comportamentul fiului ei, il roaga pe Bob (JEFF GOLDBLUM), iubitul si terapeutul ei, sa-l aduca pe Rusty pe calea cea buna. Intre Bob si Rusty se infiripa o prietenie, baiatul incepand sa fie interesat de viata tatalui sau decedat, fosta vedeta la rodeo, in timp…
