Sinopsis Memphis Beat

Dwight Hendricks este un politist din Memphis pentru care cateva lucruri sunt sfinte pe lumea asta: dragostea pentru orasul sau natal, muzica lui Elvis Presley si relatia cu mama sa. Aparator al legii ziua, Dwight isi petrece serile pe scena, cantand melodiile lui Elvis Presley. “Aparatorul orasului Memphis”, asa cum ii place lui Dwight sa-si spuna, da de bucluc in momentul cand la sectia de politie vine o sefa noua, pe care o irita peste masura stilul de lucru al politistului-trubadur.
