Biografie
Mac Davis, pe numele complet Morris Mac Davis, s-a născut pe 21.01.1942, în Lubbock, Texas. A absolvit Emory University. Și-a început cariera cu succes în calitate de compozitor: "In the Ghetto", "A Little Less Conversation". A fost gazda unor show-uri la televiziune și a apărut în filme. A fost inspirat de Buddy Holly. În 1969, se distinge cu "Clean Up Your Own Backyard". Cântecele sale sunt interpretate de Elvis Presley, Glen Campbell, Kenny Rogers, Bobby Goldsboro.
