Top Empire: Cele mai bune remake-uri din toate timpurile
19.07.2010 Lungmetrajul Heat, cu Al Pacino şi Robert De Niro în rolurile principale, a fost ales cel mai bun remake din toate timpurile, conform unui top realizat de revista Empire. Filmul lui Michael Mann din 1995 este un remake al unui alt lungmetraj de-al său, L.A. Takedown (1989). Pe locul al doilea se află The Thing al lui John Carpenter, din 1982, un remake al peliculei The Thing from Another World de Christian Nyby (1951).Podiumul este completat de The Fly (1986) al lui David Cronenberg, remake după filmul omonim al lui Kurt Neumann din 1958.
