Justin Chon s-a nascut la 29 mai 1981, in Irvine, California. Tatal sau a fost actor in Coreea de Sud, iar Justin i-a calcat pe urme in 2005 jucand in spectacole ca "Jack&Bobby" si "Taki&Luci". Actorii sai preferati sunt Mark Ruffalo, Robert Downey Jr., Johnny Depp, Marlon Brando, James Dean, Crispin Glover si multi altii iar filmul sau preferat este "A Perfect World" regizat de Clint Eastwood.
