Blur - Rock Legends - Blur
Blur was formed in the late 1980s when all four members were attending London’s Goldsmith’s College. However lead signer Damon Albarn and guitarist Graham Coxon had actually known each other since childhood, growing up together in Colchester. With bassist Alex James and drummer Dave Rowntree, the band began playing under the name of Seymour, after a character created by J D Salinger, but they soon changed that to Blur to secure a deal with Food Records. After their debut She’s So High failed to trouble the top of the charts, Blur teamed up with producer Stephen Street. They had immediate success with the single There’s No Other Way. Upon its release, Blur’s debut album, Leisure, failed to make the impact Food Records had hoped for but the band had a musical turning point with the release of the single Popscene. It had a distinctly English sound and is often credited as being the very first Britpop song. Blur decided to take on a quintessentially English style and image for their second album, Modern Life is Rubbish. By hanging on to their newfound English heritage, commercial fortunes would change for Blur in 1994 with the release of the single Girls and Boys. The success of Girls and Boys propelled the band’s third album, Parklife, to enter the charts at number one.

The film follows Ozzy's torturous and emotionally fraught journey from excess to sobriety, which Ozzy regards as his greatest accomplishment. Featuring never before seen footage, new interviews with Ozzy himself, his family, his bandmates, and those who both inspired him and were inspired by him, this is the first film to take viewers inside the mind and psyche of this legendary figure.

A brand new show that brings a veteran artist at his best! The talented artist, who became famous in the group "Take That", lacks presentations, but he himself begins his show by saying: "Let me resubmit ...". Robbie Williams has the ability to reinvent himself, exhibiting so much energy that he seems to be a rookie artist. Already in the 40s band of pop music, Robbie is more than an artist consecrated worldwide, is a reference with hits present in the best lists of consecrated DJs. This show at the Roundhouse coincided with the announcement of their 11th solo album, Heavy Entertainment Show, just released. The new album's title reflects Williams' performance as energy-dense as his 11-member big band, including his hits partner Guy Chambers on the piano. A formidable 90 minute pop odyssey. Mixing tracks from his Take That era, old or new, his songs allow him to reclaim his throne from an artist who dominates the stage - in fact, there is no one in pop music who combines his monumental energy with music Touching. A magical moment can be perceived in "A Better Man", only with the guitar on stage; Proof that he is an artist that goes beyond the scenery.

Abba are one of Sweden’s biggest exports and the world’s biggest pop act. With sales estimated at 400 million, as a group they are second only the Beatles. However, the pop music that will be remembered for generations to come grew out of a very different sound. Abba entered the Eurovision heats. They succeeded and performed the song Waterloo in the 1974 contest. The band entered superstar status with the 1976 release of their first greatest hits. The token new song on the record was Fernando. It remains Abba’s biggest-selling single to date, with sales of 10 million copies. The late 1970s was a period of unstoppable success for Abba. The 1976 album Arrival, showcased the finely-honed skill of pop song-writing and its lead single, Dancing Queen, was a prime example of that. Featuring archive material, music videos “DANCING QUEEN” “MAMA MIA ABBA” and, exclusive insights from music critics and journalists JOHN AIZLEWOOD (Evening Standard), DANIELLE PERRY (XFM), WILL HODGKINSON (The Times) & CAMILLA PIA (BBC Radio 6)

Watch "Fast" Eddie as he demonstrates how the riff for Ace Of Spades came about, and see the trio (with the help of modern technology) together on the same stage once again. Also featured are exclusive interviews with the likes of Slash (Guns & Roses, Velvet Revolver), Lars Ulrich (Metallica), Dave Brock (Hawkwind), and many more. At the front of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal is MOTORHEAD. Formed in 1975 by former Hawkwind bassist Lemmy Kilmister, the band endured several lineup changes in its early years, and the revolving door lineup began again, with Lemmy continuing to be the driving force of MOTORHEAD.
