Star Wars Episode 7 - The Fallen Hero (adica darth Vader)

Forty years have passed since the events depicted in Return of the Jedi, where the nefarious Emperor Palpatine met his doom. During the decades since the Battle of Endor, the New Republic slowly swallowed up the remnants of the Empire. However, new enemies have emerged from a rogue group of Dark Jedi and from a powerful alien species located in the Unknown Regions of the galaxy. Han Solo and Lando Calrissien are now in their seventies while Leia Organa Solo, Luke Skywalker and Mara Jade-Skywalker are in their sixties. Luke Skywalker and Mara Jade-Skywalker have long since married and have a son named Jhon.

The Cloud City of Bespin has been converted into one of the many Jedi training facilities located all throughout the galaxy. Numbering in the thousands, the Jedi Order is fast approaching its Old Republic zenith. Bespin is now the home to both Jedi Masters, Knights and Apprentices.

During routine Jedi training on Bespin, hundreds of Dark Jedi invade wearing jet packs, which send them like a swarm dropping into the upper reaches of the cloud city. These Dark Jedi are seeking to re-establish the legacy of Darth Vader and, hence, they wear a more-advanced-looking version of Darth Vader's black helmet and body armor in honor of their fallen hero.

As the Dark Jedi attack Bespin, their sleek battle satellites hover above the floating city and rain down turbolaser fire on the city. The Jedi are taken by complete surprise. However, the Dark Jedi seek not to conquer Bespin, but to capture some of the Jedi's prized holocrons, which hold vast quantities of information about the ancient ways and customs of the Jedi. As hundreds of lightsabre battles erupt between the Jedi and their dark counterparts, some of the Dark Jedi use concussion grenades to cause damage to Bespin's superstructure.

A few of the holocrons are captured by the Dark Jedi. With their mission now complete, the Dark Jedi retreat from the Cloud City and fly away from the city using their jet packs which they wear on their backs. The Dark Jedi fly into the nearby clouds and disappear. The roar of engines can be heard as the Dark Jedi escape in their customized Tie Ragers, which were hidden in the clouds.

The members of the Jedi Council, currently only seven are present on Coruscant, quickly gather themselves in the new Jedi Temple. Under Luke Skywalker's guidance, the legendary 12-member Jedi Council on Coruscant was re-established. Both Luke and Leia are current members of the Council. However, neither is present on Coruscant to hear Jhon's report (Jhon is the son of Luke and Mara) of the Dark Jedi's attack on Bespin. Jhon's report to the Council ends with the news that Bespin has been left in near ruins as a result of the assault. Jhon reports that the Dark Jedi have stolen some of their sacred holocrons. The Council senses that a new war may soon erupt.

Meanwhile, Luke and Mara are many light years from both Coruscant and Bespin and are unaware of the attack on Bespin. Luke and Mara, with their Jedi entourage, are in the Bendu crossways securing badly needed supplies for the various Jedi training facilities. Upon returning to their Jedi starship, Luke and Mara learn from C-3PO and R2-D2 that the Dark Jedi have stolen some of the holocrons from a damaged Bespin. After learning of this shocking news, Luke and Mara hyperspace to Bespin in their starship.

During their journey to Bespin, Mara contacts Leia concerning the attack on Bespin. Leia tells Mara that she has already learned of the attack and will be returning to the Jedi Tower on Coruscant as soon as possible. Han and Leia are knee deep in negotiations on the outskirts of New Republic territory. Leia is negotiating with the Raverons, a dangerous alien species that lives in the Unknown Regions, concerning one of Lando's mining facilities which is located just outside of Raveron territory.

At the Republic Senate, Lana - Han and Leia's eldest granddaughter - is a member of the Senate. The Senate is in hot debate on how to handle the Dark Jedi debacle at Bespin. Some senators want to get involved while others seek to ignore that matter and want to let the Jedi handle their own problems.

Meanwhile, the leader of the Dark Jedi is elated to learn that some of the holocrons have successfully been taken from the Jedi. The leader is currently at the Dark Jedi's cloning facility, which is located on an artificial comet hurtling through space. The leader is using this facility to make clones of Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker. The Dark Jedi plan to fulfill Darth Vader's prophecy that he and Luke should rule the galaxy as father and son and bring peace and order to the galaxy. The Dark Jedi are using Imperial DNA samples of Vader to produce a clone of the Dark Lord of the Sith and are using DNA samples from Luke's severed hand to produce a clone of the venerable Jedi Master. Skywalker's severed hand is currently owned by one of the chief Dark Jedi named, Spiden.

The leader of the Dark Jedi is angered when he learns that the information contained on the holocrons has been encrypted. They must now find someone who can decrypt the safeguard that protects the invaluable information located within the holocrons.

Meanwhile, Spiden hatches a plan to leak the Dark Jedi's efforts to clone Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker to agents working within both the New Republic and the Raveron. Spiden hopes the leader of the Dark Jedi will be destroyed by either forces from the New Republic or the Raverons so that he can become the new leader of the Dark Jedi. Spiden leaks this information to both sides. Both the New Republic and the Raveron plan to intercept the Dark Jedi comet, which is hurtling through space near the Sluivan system.

Also, Spiden contacts Luke Skywalker and asks the great Jedi Master to meet with him on the planet of Sluivan. In a volcanic cavern on Sluivan, Spiden tells Luke that Spiden has something that Luke might want to have back. Spiden places Luke's hand, which is stored in a small preservation chamber, in the middle of the cavern between the two. Spiden tells Luke of the Dark Jedi's plans to clone Vader and Luke. Luke is horrified upon hearing this news. Further, Spiden offers to give back Luke's hand in exchange for a duel. It becomes clear to Luke that only the winner of this duel will be able to keep the hand. This is the only way Luke has a chance to become fully human again without any bionic implants.

Luke tells Spiden that Luke is only half the man he use to be in his prime. Spiden replies to Luke that he has no problems with striking down an old man like Luke because Spiden's own fallen hero, Darth Vader, had no problem striking down the aged Obi-Wan Kenobi on the death star. Spiden draws his lightsabres; one in each of his hands as is Spiden's fighting style. While Luke may be many years older than Spiden, Luke was still many times more powerful in the ways of the Force than Spiden. Luke is so powerful that he no longer has to rely on weapons for protection. With a quick throw of his hand, Luke uses the Force to send Spiden plummeting over a cliff located at the edge of the cavern. Luke picks up the small chamber containing his hand and leaves the cavern. Luke plans to head back to Coruscant.

All members of the Jedi Council are now present on Coruscant and their inner sanctum, which contains the members, is beamed vis a vis a 3D holographic image onto the Senate chamber floor. The leaders of the Senate tell the Jedi Council that they must unite their forces in order to destroy the comet which contains the Dark Jedi's cloning facilities. The New Republic/Jedi launch their forces to intercept the Dark Jedi comet.

Both the New Republic/Jedi and the Raverons are in pursuit of the Dark Jedi's comet. Sensors tell the Dark Jedi that they are being pursued by two hostile forces. Immediately, the leader of the Dark Jedi senses that the New Republic/Jedi seek to destroy the comet while the Raverons are planning to capture the comet and use the cloning technology against the New Republic.

Knowing that the Dark Jedi will be defeated, the leader of the Dark Jedi orders that the comet's heading be changed so that it will crash into one of the Sluivan moons in 15 minutes. The leader tells his Dark Jedi to place the growing clones of Vader and Luke into the escape cruiser. The leader plans to have the attacking New Republic/Jedi and Raveron forces destroyed when the comet smashes into a small moon. Starships from both sides attach themselves to the side of the comet and burrow their way inside the comet. Strike forces from the New Republic/Jedi and the Raverons invade the comet and battle each other. Each side is trying to make their way to the heart of the cloning complex. The Dark Jedi escape in their cruiser with the growing clones. When the New Republic/Jedi learn of the comet's collision course with the moon, they retreat to their cruisers and flee the area. The Raverons try to change the comet's trajectory, but fail to make the changes in time to avoid the moon. The comet, the moon and the Raverons are obliterated in the collision.

While the Dark Jedi cloning facility has been destroyed, the New Republic and Jedi are unaware that the Dark Jedi succeeded in preserving the growing clones of Vader and Luke, which will be utilized in the Dark Jedi's grand scheme to conquer the galaxy . . .

E dragutz episodul 7. Din pacate vine in contradictie cu cartile lui Timothy Zann si cu majoritatea liniei temporale din Expanded Universe.

Daca o sa se faca vreodata un episod 7, desi ma indoiesc, cred ca se vor folosi ideile lui Zann. El este maestrul cand vine vorba de continuarea povestii.
Imi spui te rog de unde ai gasit scenariul asta?
Si da, sunt complet de acord ca trebuie sa vb mai mult de STAR WARS!

Un zvon absolut ingrozitor care sper ca e doar atat, un zvon! Episode IV:

A New Hope

01. The Imperial March has been added to Darth Vader's first appearance on Princess Leia's ship.
02. When Obi-Wan is talking to Luke about his father Anakin's Theme plays in the background and then it turns into the Imperial March as he talks about Vader.
03. The lightsaber effects have been redone and the frame jumps of lightsabers being turned on has been removed.
04. There's a new scene which has been shot during the filming of Episode III in which the Emperor dissolves the Senate.
05. In the Cantina, the Duros(green aliens guys) have been replaced with Neimoidians and some aliens from the prequels have been added.
06. The bleeding arm on the floor in the Cantina has been replaced with a non-bleeding arm because it's now canon that lightsabers cauterize wounds.
07. The original shooting scene between Han and Greedo has been restored.
08. Jabba the Hutt has been given a makeover and Han no longer steps on his tale.
09. In place of R2 wobbling down the stairs to the Falcon's hangar, a CG R2 navigating the stairs like he does in Attack of the Clones was added.
10. The white boxes around space ships have been removed and new CG shots have been added.
11. The scene of the Falcon being chased by the two Star Destroyers was modified. The Falcon now does spinning moves, avoiding the Star Destroyers' fire.
12. When the Death Star destroys Alderaan there's a new scene of Yoda's reaction to the disturbance in the Force that is created by all those deaths and then it cuts to Obi-Wan reacting to it as well.
13. The Dianoga has gotten a CG makeover and were are now able to see more of the creature.
14. The Death Star's paneling and computers have been slightly altered to show similar displays to those in the prequels.
15. The words "Tractor Beam" with Aurebesh lettering.
16. More stormtroopers have been added to the Death Star.
17. Use Temuera Morrison's voice is being recorded for use with all the stormtroopers.
18. The Obi-Wan/Vader duel has been spruced up. It is much more epic and there is much more movement. A modified version of Duel of the Fates is being considered for the scene.
19. The Death Star plans that are taken from R2 have been updated. When the Rebels are reviewing the Death Star plans they look similar to the plans we see in Attack of the Clones.
20. The Death Star battle is much more epic with more Tie Fighters and more Rebels being blown to bits. We get to see old Naboo starfighters being used by the Rebels.
21. There's a new scene(shot during Episode III) where Darth Vader goes to Coruscant and lands his ship in the same building Count Dooku does at the end of Attack of the Clones. Except now the building is all fixed up and it is now Palpatine's palace. He meets with Palpatine to ask for forgiveness for his failure and inform him of a new potential who is strong in the Force.
22. Chewbacca now gets a medal.

Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back

01. The taun-tauns are now CG.
02. The battle of Hoth is much more epic. We see the Imperial ships land on Hoth and release AT-ATs. The AT-ATs have been sped up a bit. There's a ground battle between the Rebel soldiers and stormtroopers featuring new ships and vechicles.
03. Temuera Morrison's voice is being recorded for the older Boba Fett and all the stormtroopers.
04. The white boxes around space ships have been removed.
05. The slug monster is CG.
06. Ian McDiarmid has refilmed scenes as the Emperor. The conversations between Vader and Palpatine is now longer and features a few connections to the prequels.
07. Yoda's face is now animated in CG allowing more expression of emotions yet his movements remain the same. Also two deleted scenes featuring Yoda instructing Luke have been restored.
08. A new scene was shot in which the stormtroopers, after they capture Han, Leia and Chewie, bring Vader the box containing C-3PO in pieces. Vader orders the stormtroopers to bring the broken droid to Chewbacca's cell so that he can fix him.
09. The lightsaber effects have been redone in certain parts.
10. Luke's fall from Cloud City has been reshot against bluescreen using a stuntman.

Episode VI: Return of the Jedi

01. Jabba the Hutt is now a combination of the puppet and CG.
02. The Rancor is CG and looks disgusting as ever.
03. Yoda is CG. Yoda disappears leaving his clothes behind like Obi-Wan now.
04. The ewoks are now mostly CG and there are a lot more of them.
05. The plan is to insert the love theme Across the Stars when Luke is talking with Leia about their mother.
06. Temuera Morrison's like before is now the voice for Boba Fett and all the stormtroopers.
07. In the battle of Endor there are thousands of Ewoks and they are more vicious than there midgets-in-suits counterparts. More bit the dust now.
08. White boxes around ships removed.
09. The black blotches around Palpatine's face are gone.
10. Some of the lightsaber effects have been redone. The shadows that the lightsabers made on the floor are gone.
11. During Anakin's death scene it starts with a sad rendition of the Imperial March and slowly evolves into Anakin's Theme.
12. Sebastion Shaw who played Anakin when he was unmasked has been replaced with Hayden Christenson in make-up to make him look older. Anakin has much more dialogue. He apologizes for the destruction he caused, he thanks his son for turning him back to the light, he tells his son to rebuild the Jedi and he says he loves him and his sister. Just before he dies he says, "It is finished...".
13. We see more planets celebrating at the end of the movie. We see an aged Jar Jar, who is now the leader of the Gungans, on Naboo celebrating with the people of Naboo and the Gungans. We see an old Watto, who is now unable to fly, sitting in a hover chair cheering on Tatooine. During these scenes Across the Stars plays transitioning to the victory celebration music at the Ewok tree village.
14. Anakin's spirit is now played by Hayden Christenson with make-up to make him look his age. He looks on proudly at his son Luke with the spirit of Padme by his side.

Relatari spion din scenariul filmului Star Wars Ep. III :
Un spion a descoperit cele de mai jos dupa o barfa cu Nick Gillard, coordonatorul echipei de cascadori:
- O multime de oameni vor fi loviti de sabie precum Obi Wan in Ep. II
- Obi Wan il invinge pe Anakin in Ep,. III, dar castigarea unei lupte nu il face sa fie cel mai bun
- Vor fi facute publice in primavara acestui an cateva scene din duelul Hayden/Ewan.
- Vom vedea si padawanii luptandu-se, incl. fiica lui Rick McCallum, Mousy.
- Darth Sidious va folosi sabia.
- Lupta Anakin/Obi-Wan va fi cea mai lunga din Star Wars – aprox. 10 minute!
- Nick l-a vazut pe Hayden in costumul lui Vader
- Asa cum este prevazut acum, duelul final nu va fi intrerupt cu alte secvente, dar se poate schimba. Duelul intre Obi si Anakin este rapid, similar cu Obi/Darth Maul
- Daca Nick ar dezvalui prea multe informatii inca nefacute publice, ar “suferi serios din punct de vedere fizic” din partea lui Rick
- Vom avea si scene de lupta in spatiu, in care sunt impicate vasele Federatiei Comerciale.
- Sabia lui Nick este galbena; el si-a ales culoarea si a putut s-o pastreze dupa filmare.
- Nick nu a vrut sau nu a putut sa spuna de ce exersa ieri (!) duel cu sabia impreuna cu Hayden.
- Exista numeroase lupte cu sabia in afara de Obi/anakin, dar Nick nu a putut da detalii
- Stilul de lupta al lui Anakin se schimba pe masura ce personajul sau trece de partea intunecata a fortei.
- Cand a fost intrebat daca vom vedea scene de lupta cand un personaj lupta cu 2 sabii contra uneia, Nick a spus ca ne-am fi dorit sa vedem scenele care au fost taiate din duelul din Ep II.
- Nick a mai spus ca o multime de capete se vor rostogoli, facand referire la decapitarea lui Jango din Ep. II
- Nick crede ca Ep. III ar putea fi supus restrictiilor de varsta pentru copii.
- Personajul interpretat de Nick se numeste Cin Drallig”, adica numele sau real de la coada la cap.
- Este posibil pentru cineva sa se lupte cu doua sabii simulta, dar necesita o pregatire speciala deoarece altfel ar fi incomod.
- Nick si Mousy au ranjit amandoi cand au comentat despe posibilitatile de imbunatatire a luptei cu sabia din trilogia clasica.
- Vom mai vedea sabii cu doua lame cum avea Darth Maul in Ep. III

Star Wars ep. 7, 8 si 9 ?
Jon Parton ne-a dat urmatoarele stiri despre eventualele continuari la StarWars:

Ahmed Best, la un interviu dat la un post de radio local a raspuns, cand a fost intrebat de DJ despre o eventuala productie a ep. 7,8,9 ca nu poate face nici o afirmatie certa deoarece se afla sub cotract si nu poate dezvalui nimic, dar nu a negat aceasta posibilitate.

Peter Mayhew neaga afirmatiile aparute pe propriul sau site (!), unde spune urmatoarele: “Nu este adevarat ca voi juca in Ep. 7, 8 si 9 dar voi apare in Ep. III (...)”

AICN dezvaluie anumite zvonuri despre Lucasfilm care a incheiat contracte pana in 2012 cu angajatii de la Skywalker Ranch care lucreaza pentru Pacific Title. Pacific Title ese o companie care produce efecte optice si digitale si care au contractat cu Lucasfilm pentru Ep. II si III.

Obi Shawn Kenobi din canada ne trimit urmatorul raport: “Priveam emisiunea Local Stars Tonight la o televiziune din Toronto, in care la informatii au dat ca stire ca Peter Mayhew a semnat cu Lucasfilm un contract pentru ep. 7, 8 si 9. Acest lucru poate valida ceea ce pana acum parea sa fie doar un zvon.”

In StarWars Insider, Mark Hamill spune, vorbind despre trilogia a 3-a “…Stiam ca exista posibilitatea sa mai apar in al noualea episod”

In fine, am incercat sa contactam Lucasfilm direct, dar Jeanie Cole de la relatiile cu publicul si presa a plecat de curand si inca nu am gasit cu cine sa stam de vorba. Am aflat totusi ca in Ep. III este implicat si Steven Spielberg intr-un fel sau altul, regasindu-se pe lista senior staff-ului

"No - here's a break down of what they've done:

- They've looked through ALL of the principle shooting and have aquired all the relevant scenes.

- They have chosen to follow a PG-13 rating, so the scenes are PG-13 material.

- Last October, they started putting it all together, and ILM have completed 40 minutes of the film, meaning they've dubbed together alot of stuff.

- All they need to do now to that opening 40 minutes is to add voicing, music and foley, and it's completed. They may add new scenes to it, but they certainly won't cut it down to PG-13.

- The Opening Action Sequence is obviously PG-13 material, even if they cut it down. The reason being is that they'll have gone too far for it to be PG (see previous postings for info on opening).

- We see lots of people getting killed, chopped into pieces, and have many deaths to innocent lives.

- We see cruelty to animals (wookies) as well as a suzerain.

- There is the very graphic scene of Anakin dragging his body, which is all burnt to the bone, out of the volcano. The approved conceptial art, available on TFN, is sickening.

- We will see children getting killed with weapons, and as seen on the HS set report pictures, we will see them fighting and dying.

Yes, there is the possibility of Lucas using the PG rated versions of the graphic scenes, but it won't be Lucas's vision, will it? It may be suitable for all audiences, but at the end of the day as Lucas says, he's making these films for himself." :o :o :o

However, Padmé is losing life, and she is dying. Chewbacca is left to look after her, as well as Bail and Bai Ling.

When she dies, Annie feels it, and this is when Obi-wan manages to get him in the volcano.

I'm working this on the currently available material from both HS and TFN, but also of general knowledge. This film plays out like you think it would.

On top of the big news that an announcement from Lucasfilm is expected next Tuesday saying that the Classic Trilogy will come to DVD on September 21 in a four-disk set, there's also new updates about Star Wars: Episode III today.

First up, at the official Star Wars website, there's a great interview with editor Roger Barton talking about what it takes to work on a massive project such as the final prequel. Here's a clip...

Once Barton returned to Skywalker Ranch after principal photography wrapped on the set in Sydney, he began to work closely with Lucas and Ben Burtt. During production in Sydney, Burtt worked with the Animatics Department to deliver early iterations of some of the most action-packed scenes, while Barton was busily assembling live action footage shot on set.

"While Ben and George are knocking out the first 20 minutes of the movie that opens in a huge space battle, I'm working on the body of the movie and knocking out some Yoda sequences so that [Animation Supervisor] Rob Coleman can start his animation," he says.

The Star Wars Trilogy will be released as a four-disc DVD box set September 21, with a global rollout on DVD expected within days of the domestic release, according to Lucasfilm and 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment.

The trilogy featuring the classic franchise films Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi will be released on three DVD discs, with a fourth disc likely to hold a newly made documentary about the "Star Wars" franchise and never-before-seen footage, among several other bonus materials, Jim Ward, Lucasfilm's vp marketing and distribution and the DVD trilogy's executive producer, tells The Hollywood Reporter.

"We are currently in the process of restoring and remastering all three titles for the DVD release, so we're still working on details of the marketing strategy," Ward said. "But I believe that it is safe to say that it will receive tremendous exposure across all media."

Lucasfilm and Fox chose the September release date to maximize on holiday gift buying during the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons. They are hoping to cash in on DVD sales throughout the holidays and up until the theatrical release of Star Wars: Episode III, which is set for release nationwide May 25, 2005.

Each of the three films in the Star Wars Trilogy has been digitally restored and remastered by THX for sound and picture quality. The films will be sold exclusively as a collection and not seperately.

Cel mai probabil Episodul 7 va "iesi" in 2008 pentru ca am observat ca de obicei este o pauza de 3 ani intre episoade cu exceptia dintre The Return of the Jedi (Episodul VI) si The Phantom Menace (Episodul I)

Hey everyone. A new POST NOTES is up on the official site. I thought I'd fill you in on the basics of it:

The first complete shot Yoda is done, it is a scene where he is walking with Obi wan and Yoda.


In preparing for reshoots, there is a scene in paticular where Palpatine attends a type of show at a coruscant theatre with Mas Amedda and Sly moore. That will be reshot.

So far there are 2,000 VFX shots, 46 have been completed and have been approved by GL. Shots need to be turned over ILM per week is at least 32.

The deadline for all VFX to be done is April 1, 2005

Nick Gillard feels the Force will be strong in Star Wars: Episode III. "It's going to be the best prequel. I can't see how it won't be," says Gillard, the veteran stunt co-ordinator whose outstanding fight sequences have been one of the undisputed highlights of the new Star Wars trilogy.

"Episode III has got everything the other films had and more! The movie is 60 to 70 per cent fighting. Ewan [McGregor, Obi-Wan Kenobi] had 1,000 moves to learn, as opposed to the three pages he had to learn in The Phantom Menace. There's tons of fighting in this one."

"Episode III also ties in beautifully with all the other movies. And when I read the script, I was really surprised by how emotional it is."
"Everyone working on the film took so much care with it," he states. "Nobody wants to get it wrong."



Fighting Talk

Set three years after events in Attack of the Clones, Episode III focuses on the fall of the Jedi, the rise of the Empire and Anakin Skywalker's transformation into Darth Vader. As the film is currently in the early stages of post-production and won't be released until May 2005, Gillard is understandably reluctant to give too much away about specific plot points at this early stage. But he does confirm that the movie features the long-awaited lightsaber duel between Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) and his former mentor, Obi-Wan Kenobi.

"It's a monster of a sequence," reveals Gillard. "I had a couple of years to think about it and think about what George [Lucas, writer/director] had told me about it, and it was daunting because I knew how important that sequence is. I spent probably a year deconstructing the Jedi style of fighting to make it work. I had Hayden with me eight weeks before we started shooting it and I had Ewan six weeks, which wasn't really enough time, so we often had to rehearse at weekends during the filming."

"If it comes out like I saw it being shot, it's going to be phenominal," he promises.

Gillard also reports that the duel will explain how Obi-Wan is able to defeat his protege, even though Anakin has been established as the most powerful Jedi who ever lived. "Obi-Wan taught Anakin and Anakin has gone past him," he notes. "But when you get to that duel, it's emotional. That's where the mistake will be made. And if you know the characters, you know Obi-Wan isn't going to get emotional and he doesn't make mistakes."

Anakin's grisly demise at the end of the duel is set to be one of the most chilling moments in the entire saga. It will also help make Episode III the most intense Star Wars movie since The Empire Strikes Back.

"Episode III is really dark," confirms Gillard. "There's rumours of it being a PG. I've made it as violent as I absolutely possibly can. If something had to be cut off in a scene, it was a painful thing!"

In-between choreographing Episode III's epic action sequences, Gillard also filmed a cameo role in the movie. "I am in it as a hologram. George said I had to be in it. He wanted to call me "The Troll', but I managed to change it to 'Cin Drallig', my name backwards---though I will probably end up as The Troll."

"It was nice to do, and I think I will become an action figure eventually--they laser-beamed me along with everyone else."

Duel Purpose

A veteran stunt co-ordinator whose credits include Indiana Jones and the last Crusade, Interview with a Vampire and Aliens, Gillard began working on the Star Wars prequel trilogy in 1997, when he joined the crew of Star Wars: Episode I--The Phantom Menace. His first task was to develop a new style of lightsaber fighting for the trilogy's characters.

"I loved the original films," he says, "but once I took the job, I looked at them and thought, "Things have moved on. I can't make the fights the same as they were back then. I have to up the ante'."
"I developed different styles for the characters, and gave each of them a flaw or a bonus. So with Obi, for instance, he's got a very business-like style--when he was younger he could border on the flashy and might twirl his lightsaber a bit, because he was taught by Qui-Gonn. Qui-Gonn was brash, that rubbed off on Obi and Obi then taught Anakin, who was way too old to learn anyway."

"I think the style really worked well. The Jedi style of fighting is an amalgamation of all the great swordfighting styles. Melding them together is the difficult part--to move from a Kendo style to, say, Rapier requires a complete change in body and feet movement, and this must look effortless. The style moves seamlessly between the different disciplines, but remains technically correct throughout. It's unlike any other style of fighting and I think it's beautiful to watch."

In addition to developing the character's fighting styles, Gillard trained the actors to bring them to life, in a deliberate effort to avoid using stunt doubles. He is full of praise for everyone's efforts on the movies, especially those of his leading Jedi.
"Ewan McGregor can just do anything," he notes. "I've known Ewan for years and whatever you give him to do, he can do it. I would have thought that no one could have become better than Ewan--after Phantom and Attack of the Clones, he just looked like the best. But Hayden learned fast and is now leagues ahead of everybody. He is terrifying!"

Gillard's work on the films' lightsaber duels doesn't end with the principal photography, though. He is heavily involved in the development of the fighting styles employed by the movies' computer-generated character, including Jedi Master Yoda.

"I worked with Rob Coleman and John Knoll at ILM on the Yoda stuff in Clones," he explains. "I think we did alright with it. It came up very quickly, because originally the fight between Anakin and Dooku was going to be much longer and we shot a much longer sequence, but that was dropped for the Yoda fight. At the time I thought, 'Oh no, it's going to look so bad....', but I was quite impressed when I saw it. I think if I had been six or seven years old, I would have been blown away. And it won Best Fight at the MTV Awards!"

Reflecting on the first two Star Wars prequels, Gillard is aware that neither The Phantom Menace nor Attack of the Clones seem to have captured cinemagoers' imagination in quite the same ways as the original films. But he maintains that they are worthy additions to the saga, and is proud of his own contributions to them. "The prequels were never going to be what people remembered, because they were a lot younger when they saw the original films. It's a personal thing," he notes. "But I liked both of them, I actually liked Phantom Menace more than Clones--I know who George makes these films for: he makes them for children."

"I'm happy with my work on the films," he continues. "You always want to do more, of course, and you don't have any control over editing and stuff. But I think it's great."

Following the completion of principal photography on Episode III at the end of September, Nick Gillard is aware that the bulk of his work on the Star Wars prequel trilogy--is done. He also feels that his time in a galaxy far, far away will always hold a special place in his heart.

"It's been an amazing experience," he declares. "It can spoil you for other things, because it's not studio backed and Rick McCallum is the best producer in the world--he will give you anything you want, anywhere you want it, any time. When you go to America, you'll walk into a shop and people will know who you are and that you worked on Star Wars, even though you're just the stunt co-ordinator. And, of course, you get offered everything after doing Star Wars without an interview--although when you meet the filmmakers, they don't want to talk about their films, they just want to talk about Star Wars!"

"It's been a fantastic seven years. It was weird getting the job and realising I'd be doing it for seven years, but I'm really happy to have done the three films. I would have hated it if anyone else had done them."

Star Wars stunt co-ordinator speaks

Yes, it’s yet another story about the Star Wars: Episode III fight scenes. But since we don’t know much about the plot details yet – even the title for this instalment has not yet been released – we have to keep giving you what we have. Besides, after all the excitement for The Return of the King and Matrix Revolutions, there’s only one trilogy left that gets the blood pumping, and that’s Star Wars.

After a mixed bag of prequels, George Lucas has one more chance to win back the fans and wow us all over again – and according to his stunt co-ordinator, Nick Gillard, he’s set to do just that.

"It's going to be the best prequel. I can't see how it won't be," said Gillard, speaking to Dreamwatch magazine. "Episode III has got everything the other films had and more! The movie is 60 to 70 per cent fighting. There's tons of fighting in this one."

"Episode III also ties in beautifully with all the other movies. And when I read the script, I was really surprised by how emotional it is. Everyone working on the film took so much care with it," he said. "Nobody wants to get it wrong."

All of which is encouraging news for fans, who fear that this will be the trilogy’s Return of the Jedi instead of its Return of the King. The release of the original trilogy on DVD this September should keep enthusiasm ticking over until next May

Multi au zis ca jaru a stricat primul film.. Insa per ansamblu primul a parut mai pt copii. Banii si i-a scos oricum (nici nu ma mir la cat au asteptat fanii...). Sa speram ca hepisodui 3 o sa mai salveze ceva dint trilogia prequel... :roll:

At last we will have revenge." Cu 25 de milenii inainte de vremea lui Darth Vader, pe la inceputurile Jedi-ilor existau numai Jedi de partea buna a Fortei... Dar dupa un anumit timp, bineinteles ca unii si-au manifestat o anumita curiozitatea fata de partea "intunecata" a fortei si fata de puterile mult mai distrugatoare ale partii intunecate... La un moment dat au inceput anumite batalii intre cei care manifestau interes fata de partea intunecata si cei care nu... Pe masura ce timpul trecea tot mai multi Jedi "aderau" la partea intunecata... Pana la urma s-a format "rasa" Sith care era formata din Jedi trecuti la partea intunecata ... in scurt timp aceasta rasa si-a facut si propriul ei imperiu si dupa ceva timp, normal de altfel, a inceput o cearta intre potentialii conducatorii ai neamului Sith ... acesti potentiali conducatori erau Simus (da, stiu ca in The Planet of the Apes) si Marka Ragnos ... Marka Ragnos a fost invingatorul castigand astfel titlul de "The Dark Lord of the Sith" ... Imperiul lor s-a numit (totala lipsa de imaginatie din partea rasei Sith) "The Empire" ... De-alungul timpului au existat mai multi Dark Lords of the Sith pana ce s-a ajuns la Naga Sadow care a planificat sa invinga Republica atacandu-i pe nestiute - mai mult sau mai putin - insa acesta avea un rival si anume Ludo Kressh care dorea la fel de mult ca Republica sa-l vada mort pe Naga Sadow... Cand a sosit momentul atacului, Naga Sadow se lupta cu Republica in fata iar in spate cu Ludo Kressh care a fost invins pana la urma insa care a deteriorat foarte tare flota lui Naga Sadow... Naga Sadow dupa o lupta intensiva unde au pierit majoritatea razboinicilor Sith, s-a retras pe planeta cat de cat necunoscuta Yavin Four (a.k.a. Yavin 4) unde a inceput sa-si antreneze un nou ucenic, pentru ca dupa cum stiti, in rasa Sith exista intotdeauna un Maestru si un Ucenic... Naga Sadow a continuat sa fie Dark Lord of the Sith inca 200 de ani pana ce rasa Sith s-a stins... Dupa alti 200 de ani rasa Sith se ridica din nou! Dupa 1000 de ani de la restabilirea rasei Sith disputa pentru titlul de Dark Lord of the Sith avea sa le fie sfarsitul... dar nu numai acesta... razboiul dintre rasa Sith si Jedi avea sa aiba un sfarsit furtunos! Pe planeta Ruusan a avut o lupta gigantica intre Sith si Jedi cu pierderi uriase de ambele parti! Cei 2 potentiali conducatori ai rasei Sith erau Darth Bane si Kaan ... ei aveau doua strategii diferite desi duceai aceeasi lupta cu aceeasi armata... In cele din urma Kaan find foarte incapatanat a detonat o bomba crezand ca rasa Sith e mult mai rezistenta decat Jedi si ca ei vor supravietui exploziei... insa bomba a explodat si toata lumea a fost nimicita in afara de un Sith... Darth Bane... Dupa ce Jedi au crezut ca toti cei din rasa Sith au fost distrusi, Darh Bane s-a retras pe o planeta necunoscuta unde a inceput sa-si antreneze ucenicul... Dupa mai multi ani, nu se stie exact cati, au existat in fiecare generatie 2 din rasa Sith, un Maestru si un ucenic... la un moment dat titlul de Sith Master a ajuns la Palpatine. Palpatine l-a luat ca ucenic pe Darth Maul, si-a luat numele de Darth Sidious si a inceput in secret sa-si construiasca propriul Imperiu ... si de aici se intra in povestea Episodului I: The Phantom Menace ... deci ce am scris eu aici practic este Episodul -1 si -2 :lol:

Sidious began to train him in the ways and traditions of the ancient Sith. To rove his loyalty, Dart Sidious had the young Sarin lay a trap for some of his friends. The ambush that Sarin set up killed several Jedi Knights and soon he was declared a Dark lord of the Sith by his Master. He took the alias DARTH MAUL and had his face TATOOED in fearsome designs of red and black. The Horns, that were trademark of his species, added greatly to his fearsome appearence. On the side, he also studied martial arts intensley so he could fullfill his dream of becoming the best fighter in SITH HISTORY. As he improved his fighting skill he learned how to fight with a lightsaber after he made his own. He was a very close follower of Sith traditions but he also wanted more power. He soon built a deadly double-sided lightsaber and incorporated it into his fighting skills. He soon learned to weild the double-sided saber with deadly accuracy and Darth Sidious was very proud of his apprentice.

Why is Darth Sidious trying to kill Padme Amidala in Attck of the clones ? The general supposition is that she could vote on the creation of a clone army but Darth Sidious actually had a vision that her future children will be a threat to him. Sidious wants to kill Padme before they are born.

What’s the difference between a Sith Lord and a Dark jedi ?
A Sith Lord is a follower of the Black Arts of the Sith Order. A Dark Jedi is any evil Force user who does NOT follow the ways of the Sith Order. Dark jedi are NOT Sith Lords.

Part 1
40 years have passed since the Battle Of Endor (Return of the Jedi), where both the Emperor and Darth Vader met their doom. During the decades since Endor, the remnants of the Empire have been slowly swallowed up by the New Republic. However, NEW ENEMIES have emerged from a rogue group of Dark Jedi and from a powerful force located inside the Unknown Regions. Han Solo, Luke and Mara-Jade Skywalker are in their 60s. Han & Leia now have grandchildren named : Lana, Mercra and „Blue 3”. Luke and Mara-Jade are married and they have a son named Jhon.

The Cloud City Of Bespin has been converted into one of the many Jedi training facilities located throughout the galaxy. The Jedi’s numbers are beginning to grow to Old republic heights. Bespin is now the home of both Jedi Masters, Knights & Apprentices.

During routine Jedi training on Bespin, The Dark Jedi invade wearing jet packs, which send them like a swarm dropping into the upper reaches of the Cloud City. These dark Jedi are seeking to re-establish the legacy of Darth Vader &, hence, they wear a more-advanced-looking version of Darth Vader’s helmet & body armor in honor of their FALLEN HERO.

As the Dark Jedi attack Bespin, their sleek battle satellites swarm the floating city 7 rain down turbolaser fire on the city. The Jedi are taken by complete surprise. However, the Dark Jedi seek not to conquer Bespin, but to capture some of the Jedi’s prized holocrons, which hold vast quantities of information about the ancient ways and customs of the Jedi. As hundreds of lightsabre battles erupt between the Jedi and their Dark counterparts, some of the Dark Jedi use concussion grenades to cause damage to Bespin’s superstructure. A few of the holocrons are captured by the Dark Jedi. With their mission now complete, The Dark Jedi retreat from the Cloud City & fly away from the city using their jet packs disappearing into the nearest clouds. Tie Ragers waiting in the clouds are heard in the clouds taking the Dark Jedi with the stolen holocrons...

PART 2

The members of the Jedi Council, currently only 7 are present on Coruscant, quickly gather themselves in the sacred Jedi sanctum. Jhon reports to the Council that the Dark jedi have raided Bespin & stolen some of their holocrons. The Council senses that a new war may soon erupt. Under Luke’s guidance, the legendary 12-member Jedi Council on Coruscant was re-established. Both Luke and Leia are current members of the Council. However, neither is present on Coruscant to hear Jhon’s report of the Dark Jedi’s attack on Bespin. Jhon’s report to the Council ends with the news that Bespin has been left in near ruins as aresult of the assault.

Unaware of the assault on Bespin Mara & Luke are light years away – in the Bendu Crossways securing badly needed supplies for the various Jedi training facilities. Upon returning to their Jedi starship C-3PO & R2D2 inform them of the attack on Bespin & stolen holocrons.

Meanwhile Han & Leia are away negociating, on the outskirts of the New Republic teritory, with the Raverons – a dangerous alien species that lives in the Unknown Regions, concerning on of Lando’s mining facilities – located outside of the Raveron teritory.

At the republic Senate, Lana – Han & Leia’s eldest granddaughter – is a member of the Senate – which is in a hot debate on how to handle the Dark Jedi debacle at Bespin. Some senators want to get involved while others seek to ignore that matter & want to let the Jedi handle their own problems.

Meanwhile, the leader of the Dark Jedi is elated to learn that some of the holocrons have succesfully been taken from the Jedi. The leader is currently at the Dark Jedi’s Cloning Facility, which is located on an artificial comet hurtling through the space. The leader is using this facility to make clones of Darth Vader & Luke Skywalker. The Dark jedi plan to fulfill Darth Vader’s prophecy that he & Luke should rule the galaxy as father & son and bring peace and order to the galaxy. The Dark Jedi are using imperial DNA samples of Vader to produce a clone of the Dark Lord of the Sith and are using DNA samples from Luke’s severed hand to produce a clone of the venerable Jedi Master. Slywalker’s severed hand is currently owned by one of the chief Dark Jedi named, Spiden.

The leader of the Dark Jedi is angered when he learns that the information contained on the holocrons has been encrypted. They must now find some one who can decrypt the safeguard that prrotects the invaluable information located within the holocrons.

Meanwhile, Spiden hatches a plan to leak the Dark Jedi’s efforts to clone Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker to agents working within both the New Republic and the Raveron. Spiden hopes the leader of the Dark Jedi will be destroyed by either forces from the New Republic or the Raverons so that he can become the new leader of the Dark Jedi. Spiden leaks this information to both sides. Both New Republic and the Raveron plan to intercept the Dark Jedi comet, which is hurtling through space near the Sluivan system.

Also, Spiden contacts Luke Skywalker and asks the great Jedi Master to meet with him on the planet Sluivan. In a volcanic cavern on Sluivan, Spiden tells Luke that Spiden has something that Luke might want to have BACK. Spiden places Luke’s hand, which is stored in a small preservation chamber, in the missle of the cavern between the two. Spiden tells Luke of the Dark Jedi’s plans to clone Vader and Luke. Luke is horrified upon hearing this news. Further, Spiden offers to give back Luke’s hand in exchange for a duel. It becomes clear to Luke that only the winner of this duel will be able to keep the hand. This is the only way Luke has a chance to become a fully human again without any bionic implants.

Luke tells Spiden that he is only half the man he used to be in his prime. Spiden replies to Luke that he has no problems with striking down an old man like Luke because Spiden’s own FALLEN HERO, Darth Vader, had no problem striking down the aged Obi-Wan kenobi on the Death Star. Spiden draws his lightsabres; one in each of his hands as is Spiden’s fighting style. While Luke may be many years older than Spiden, Luke was still many times more powerful in the ways of the Force than Spiden. Luke is so powerful that he no longer has to rely on weapons for protection. With a quick throw of his hand, Luke uses the Force to send Spiden plummeting over a cliff located at the edge of the cavern. Luke picks up the small chamber containing his hand and leaves the cavern. Luke plans to head back to Coruscant

"In Attack of the Clones, we saw that former Jedi Count Dooku was the political leader behind the Separatists movement and instigator of the Clone Wars," says Producer Rick McCallum. "In Episode III, we'll meet General Grievous, the military leader of all the Separatist armies. He's part alien and part robot. Grievous is a master strategist and the greatest hand-to-hand Jedi killer the galaxy has ever known."

In Chapter 20 (set to air on April 8), the micro-series finale, a group of Jedi Knights is being decimated by a seemingly indestructible new enemy. By episode's end, the Jedi and viewers both will understand the power of General Grievous.

The ten new episodes of the "Star Wars: Clone Wars" micro-series begin on Friday, March 26. They will be available online to the official site's Hyperspace subscribers in high quality with optional exclusive audio commentary from creator Genndy Tartakovsky. Hyperspace members will also get an even closer look at General Grievous next week.

PART 3

All members of the Jedi Council are now present on Coruscant and their inner sanctum, which contains the members, is beamed vis a vis a 3D holographic image onto the Senate chamber floor. The leaders of the Senate tell the jedi Council that they must unite their forces in order to destroy the comet which contains the Dark jedi’s cloning facilities. The New Republic/Jedi launch their forces to intercept the Dark Jedi comet.

Both the New Republic/Jedi and the Raverons are in pursuit of the Dark Jedi’s comet. Sensors tell the Dark Jedi that they are being pusued by 2 hostile forces. Immediately, the leader of the Dark Jedi senses that the New Republic/ Jedi seek to destroy the comet while the Raverons are planning to capture the comet and use cloning technology against the New Republic.

Knowing that the Dark Jedi will be defeated, the leader of the Dark Jedi orders that the comet’s heading be changed so that it will crash into one of the Sluivan moons in 15 minutes. The leader tells the Dark Jedi to place the growing clones of Vader and Luke into the escape cruiser. The leader plans to have the attacking New Republic/Jedi and Raveron forces destroyed when the comet smashes into the small moon. Starships from both sides attach themselves to the side of the comet and burrow their way inside the comet. Strike forces from the New Republic/Jedi and the Raverons invade the comet and battle each other. Each side is trying to make their way to the heart of the cloning complex. The Dark Jedi escape in their cruiser with the growing clones. When the New Republic learn of the comet’s collision with the moon, they retreat to their cruisers and flea the area. The Raverons try to change the comet’s trajectory, but fail to make the changes in time to avoid the moon. The comet, the moon and the Raverons are obliterated in the collision.

While the Dark Jedi cloning facility has been destroyed, The New Republic and Jedi are unaware that the Dark Jedi succeeded in preserving the growing clones of Vader and Luke, which will be utilized in the Dark Jedi’s grand scheme to conquer the galaxy...

Da Gaandalf. Aveai dreptate... Nu mai vazsume filmul de mult. Ma indus in eroare faptul ca la inceputul lupeti Anakin este electrificat de Douku (din nou stiu ca n-am scris bine) si credeam ca doar Obi Wan se bate cu el. Am revzaut scena ca am filmul. Ai drepate. Palaria jos! :D :lol: :wink:

Anakin e electrocutat imediat ce ajunge la fata locului de Dooku pt ca se napusteste ... dupa aia obi wan se bate singur cu el, ii taie mana Dooku lu Obi Wan, Obi Wan cade si in timpu asta se ridica Anakin si-l blocheaza pe Dooku sa-l taie pe Obi Wan dupa care Obi Wan ii arunca LS-ul lui lui Anakin si astfel Anakin ajunge cu 2 lightsabere al lui fiind taiat putin mai tarziu de Dooku

Dar daca tin minte bine, LS-ele acele nu erau nici macar ale lor. Li lea dat Samuel Jackson cand erau la areana si ii salva. LS-ul lui Anakin este distrus in fabrica... Un jedi pote sa-si faca mai mult de un LS daca il pierde sau etc?
