"Poezie" inspirata din Bioshock Infinite doar ca privind din alta perspectiva. Am participat la un concurs de "poezie" unde evident am pierdut.

We came alone in this wonderful tale
We left the dark and evil we shun
We saved ourselves from peril and hate
Here, lies the city of sun

The Prophet is wise, he comes with a plan
He touched us and our sins were gone
How fortunate are we to meet such a man ?
Here, in the city of sun

We looked behind and there was no future
A new idea for the world to run ?
Why is he a kind and welcoming tutor ?
Here, in the city of sun

The city is light and angels protect it
They don't have wings but carry a gun?
If this is heaven then why have whip ?
Here, in the city of sun?

He gave us hope but can we repay him ?
He is our father and I his son ?
I feel so unworthy, my faith is thin ?
Here, in the city of sun ?

The watchful protector sees from above
The hate, the lie, the evil and wrong ?
Can iron breathe the feeling of love ?
Here, in the city of sun ?

The old ways creep in each day we obey
The song is now just a frightening hum
The sinners rebel each week and each day ?
Here in the city of sun?

The bird is defeated, we can hear the drums
The angels have fallen, their light is all gone
The demons are filling the streets with scum
Here in the city of sun ?

No demon, no angel, no bird is around
The clouds are crying for what has been done
The hope we embraced is now but all drowned
Here in the city of man

si acum ceva care se apropie mai mult de subiectul in cauza si versurile care m-au inspirat pentru concursul respectiv:

The Rider's Song - Nick Cave & Warren Ellis

'When?' said the moon to the stars in the sky
'Soon' said the wind that followed them all

'Who?' said the cloud that started to cry
'Me' said the rider as dry as a bone

'How?' said the sun that melted the ground
and 'Why?' said the river that refused to run

and 'Where?' said the thunder without a sound
'Here' said the rider and took up his gun

'No' said the stars to the moon in the sky
'No' said the trees that started to moan

'No' said the dust that blunted its eyes
'Yes' said the rider as white as a bone

'No' said the moon that rose from his sleep
'No' said the cry of the dying sun

'No' said the planet as it started to weep
'Yes' said the rider and laid down his gun
