Tot apropo, oarecum fara legatura: "Inferno", jurnalul lui Strindberg, l-ai citit? Nici macar nu stiu daca a fost tradus in romana.
Am vazut si eu ieri un film "Le bassin de J.W.", colaj de texte din Strindberg, Sade, Breton unite de textele mintii asteia (impenetrabila pe de-a intregul) a lu' nebunul asta de Monteiro. Si intre scene ciudatele e o scena normala, cuminte, o discutie de vara

, pe veranda intre un el si o ea pe marginea jurnalului lui Strindberg in care se diseaca exact asta: valoarea literara a unui text produs de o minte clar tulburata, cum un mare scriitor e in acelasi timp si un mare diliu.

Curajoasa femeie! Cam ce a fost Salman Rushdie prin anii '90 e acum Ayan Hirsi Ali, a intrat sub radarul fundamentalistilor, se misca de colo-colo in secret sub paza, sper sa n-aiba aceeasi soarta ca amicul ei, Theo van Gogh. Si chiar daca intuiesc ca lucrurile sunt mai nuantate decat virulenta ei (ca e clar virulenta) si toata lumea asta orientala nu trebuie considerata un monolit, tot mi se pare relevanta ca un catalizator in a schimba mentalitati. De unde respectul meu.
