Sirius-The Dog Star --Steaua Constelației Câinelui

• Oh, Thou great star Sirius
  Thy light of Great Spiritus
  The Sun behind the Sun
  Much brighter than our Sun
  Whose son is ancient Ra
  Greater than Moon’s Hera
  By ancients called the dog star
  That truly names your Avatar
  With Anubis, himself, the god of Death
  Knowing your truly powerful wreath
  And even great Toth- the teacher
  Had not escaped your godly archer
  Who joins in after-life goddess Isis
  In reviving great Horus’s son Osiris.
  
  Your dog days of the Summer,
  Without rain a deserts’ maker
  Ending ancient Egypt’s reign
  Perishing all without the rain
  Issis left powerless the Nile to revive,
  Osiris needed for children to survive,
  Dog-headed Anubis then wins all
  As Sirius forgot his people after all
  Too hot he ended human life
  In spite of their lengthy strife.
  
  Only Pyramids remained by Nile
  Ole’ Egyptians have left without a guile
  Your light still falls on that Stone of God
  Where once Osiris’s crown stood with love,
  Osiris’s Orion light still goes to King’s Chamber
  When Isis’s star Sirius glows in Queen’s Chamber
  All left in pyramids are mummies and amber.
  

O, tu mărețe Sirius,
Steaua Lumii spiritelor
Lumina soarelui din spatele Soarelui
Strălucind mai tare decât al nostru Soare
Cine nu te vede noaptea oare?
