This much I've gleaned from the rumor mill: no prizes for "Holy Motors," despite it being handily the best film in Competition. A major prize, possibly the Palme d'Or, for "Post Tenebras Lux," despite it being close to the worst. Oh, the humanity. Michael Haneke, Cristian Mungiu, Abbas Kiarostami and Mads Mikkelsen have all reportedly been invited to the ceremony. Beyond that, we can only wait -- with vain hope and increasing dread.
