Every commercial film is actually only the preview of that which it promises and will never deliver. How nice it would be if under the present circumstances one could claim that the less films appear to be works of art the more they would be just that. One is especially drawn to this conclusion in reaction to thos snobbish psychological class-A pictures which the culture industry forces itself to make for the sake of cultural legitimation. (ibid.)
