I got your address from a mutual acquaintance, Vladan Petkovic. I'm writing a book on fantastic-mystery-horror cinema with Massimo Lavagnini covering the period 1980-2007. It is the most complete ever written (till today 4000 titles in) since it also deals with less-known cinematographies. From Romania unfortunately we only included two films, that is Viorel Sergovici's DOMNISOARA CHRISTINA (92) and În fiecare zi Dumnezeu ne saruta pe gura (2001) from Sinisa Dragin. We also got the promise from filmmaker Florin Piersic to receive his film FIX ALERT but he didn't send it to us till today. The reason i'm writing is, first of all to know if exist and if you can recommend us other similar films there and if you can either help us to find copies of them to view, or review them yourself for our book. We would be very pleased for that. Another very important question i'm writing is to ask you to dissipate once for all my doubts about this film: NEKRO (1997) from Nicolas Masson. This is its Canada-made site and the director should live there now: http://nekro.massmp.com/ . Well i wrote tens of times at the email addresses there, but they never deigned of a reply. I also wrote Masson at other (financial, publicity, photography) sited he appears on, but the result has been the same. I wrote to that unknown pseudo producers Viorel Mihalcea and Niki Coman, but absolute silence was the answer. I also try to search info about the music composer, the cinematographer, the screenwriter etc... but no luck. Finally i tried to write to some of the actors who should have acted there but never got a reply again. I'm starting to think or better still i'm more and more convinced that this film doesn't exist and was never actually released, also because there appears to be sold on dvd and vhs but anyone in the world seems to have a copy of it. Can you help me to find out something about this film? and if exists, can you help me to find a copy to view? i wrote to lots of film festivals, institutions, film archives and lots of critics in Romania but anyone has ever replied. I'm very disappointed by that and i can't believe rRomanian people are so little available, also considering that all i'm trying to do is fill the gap about Romanian cinematography and let those films be known in countries where anyone know them. Please let me know something, it's important.
