nu pot sa 'raspund' decit postind - aici - ce am scris dspr 'giliap' in cotidianul tiff-ului:

"Madhouse Sweet Madhouse

One really has to see this Czech Dream to believe it! Didn’t I tell you the world is crazy? Well, it is. And it comes to TIFF’s;-)
Imagine there’s no publicity – then, there would be no d*r*e*a*m, as the po-mo mob knows it. Young Klusak & Remunda (the authors of the documentary) set the situation going, then let the facts add up to the grand finale – which is enormously, painfully, hilariously, unashamedly funny for all ye cynics out there, just waiting for some Reality Show/Artsy-FartsyHappening to pull us out of our blasé moods & roll us on the floor with laughter… Who’s bad? asks the mockumentary. Who’s crazy? - ask we. Fact is, we all are. And movies may be a way (being among filmbuffs, I can safely say: the best) to stay healthy, at least in the mind. All the horrors, the weirdos, the sex-maniacs & the downright&left perverts we had witnessed in action for the last week or so – they all keep us healthy! You seem incredulous? Remember what Hitchcock used to say: scaring people shitless is not only fun, but good for one’s health. Doctor Hitch’s order. He didn’t phrase it just like that, but you get the main idea. So, whoever is complaining there’s „too much sex & violence” on the screen, take this from me: go see a doctor. There’s something wrong with you, & my guess is you’re just plain crazy; healthy people watch crazy movies & stay healthy.
Remember the Mormon at the stop the other day? He was a funny one! He probably didn’t come to see 9 Songs, Winterbottom’s (it’s helpful to have a name ending in „bottom”, you spare the publicity for the film) underXXXrated, understated & underachieved „All You Ever Wanted to Know About Sex But Now It’s Too Late to Find Out & I’m Tired, Good-Night”. It was hailed in AperiTIFF as „9 Fucks”, but „9 Bores” would be more accurate – which, of course, is nothing new: everyone knows sex is very boring unless you’re involved in it.

My (crazy) idea is that all those who overpacked “Republica” to see the bottom in Winterbottom assault „Arta” for another screening of Giliap, Roy Andersson’s brilliant 1975 shot at immortality. It’s practically double the time in 9 Songs, but it’s 10 times better. No, you don’t get pussies, nor cocks; you don’t get erections, nor orgasms - at least, not down there! What you get is cinematic bliss, which (as weird as may appear to you) has more to do with a curtain’s or a bird’s flutter - or some melancholy man’s beautifully quiet and slowly penetrating glance than with some hurried people’s excretions. So my piece of advice is: go see Giliap in Bucharest! Even if you are from Cluj. If you were crazy enough to miss this one, try something less crazy & travel for 7 hours to see a movie. After all, why should we all be forced to come here and not the other way round now & then?"
