Un pasaj rupt cu de-a sila din rai e bataia de la final, cind gangsterii, politistii, Clarence & friends incep sa se impuste unii pe altii, iar gloantele zboara printre oameni si in incapere incepe sa ninga cu fulgi din perne si canapele. E vorba de una dintre ultimele scene din "True Romance", si in gradina asta din rai ramin Clarence - impuscat in ochi - si Alabama, ca o zina buna de tot. Si ce frumos suna astea in gura ei:
"... And sometimes Clarence asks me what I would have done if he had died, if that bullet had been two inches more to the left. To this, I always smile, as if I'm not going to satisfy him with a response. But I always do. I tell him of how I would want to die, but that the anguish and the want of death would fade like the stars at dawn, and that things would be much as they are now."
