Cu toata lipsa de respect pe care o am pentru Amyd, trebuie sa precizez niste lucruri: mesajul adresat ricutzei avea un scop didactic cu o finalitate, sper eu, fericita. Ricutza poate gasi acolo niste lucruri 'interesting' (does it ring a bell?), scrise de un video-editor. Daca tu poti sa o inveti mai bine, please do so. :lol: Eu am sa ignor filigranul de invidie profesionala (?) cu care tonul tau e intretesut si am sa incerc sa lamuresc ceva lucruri, asa cum ma pricep eu mai bine.

For starters: textul lui Eugen Radescu este destul de indraznet, lucru care poate fi double-edged: avanseaza niste idei audacious (which is good, otherwise how can one expect things to evolve?). On the other hand, aceleasi afirmatii 'blasfemiatoare' pentru teoreticienii new-media do not exactly fit into the new media 'bible'.

Radescu aminteste 5 principii new media care, spune el, se regasesc in clip: reprezentarea numerica, modularitatea, variabilitatea, transcodarea si automatizarea.

Clips' belonging to new media ti se paer o idee atit de 'ouch' extravaganta. ce ne facem cind niste teoreticieni new media si Radescu se gasesc pe un common ground?

In restul articolului, Radescu vorbeste despre lucruri distincte intr-adevar, de new media, asa ca sint de acord cu tine. Continuu sa merg pe linia ta si atunci cind autorul confunda -voit sau nevoit de cerintele arhitecturale ale articolului sau - videoclipul (pe care il vede ca produs de avangarda) cu new media. Din cite stiu eu, sint 7 tipuri principale de mass media: radio, television, film, book publishing, sound recording, newspapers and magazines. Sigur, mai pot fi incluse billboards, comic books, posters, direct mail and matchbooks. Videoclipul intra in the seven main mass media, tightly connected with tv, tv history. O alta obiectie pe care i-as face-o lui Radescu care, ca si tine, e fanul stilului pretios si al neologismelor (nu stau acum sa iti explic dpdv clinic ce mecanisme mentale stau in spatele acestei atitudini) e ca incurca putin intentia videoclipului. El zice ca:

În fine, ultimul nivel presupune receptarea individuala cu un grad mare de subiectivitate, în sensul ca un videoclip este bun sau prost în functie de propriile noastre convingeri estetice, totul poate fi explicabil prin:
a) faptul ca, stiind tu totul despre new media, orice alta opinie este a priori nula
b) nu numai ca nu ai citit textul cu atentie, dar ai facut-o si putin biased
c) esti intolerant fata de fortarile de nota
d) your stage name is 'gigi-contra'
