Boala Alzheimer (Morbus Alzheimer) este o afecţiune degenerativă progresivă a creierului care apare mai ales la persoane de vârstă înaintată, producând o deteriorare din ce în ce mai accentuată a funcţiilor de cunoaştere ale creierului, cu pierderea capacităţilor intelectuale ale individului şi a valorii sociale a personalităţii sale, asociată cu tulburări de comportament, ceea ce realizează starea cunoscută sub numele de demenţă (din latină: demens). Boala şi modificările organice din creier care o însoţesc au fost descrise pentru prima dată de psihiatrul şi neuropatologul german, Alois Alzheimer. Denumirea de "boală Alzheimer" a fost utilizată pentru prima dată de psihiatrul german Emil Kraepelin în manualul său de psihiatrie ("Lehrbuch der Psychiatrie", 1911). Această boală reprezintă forma cea mai comună de declin mintal la persoanele în vârstă şi a devenit tot mai frecventă o dată cu creşterea longevităţii.

can refer to any kind of communication over the Internet, but is primarily meant to refer to direct one-on-one chat or text-based group chat (formally also known as synchronous conferencing), using tools such as instant messengers, Internet Relay Chat, talkers and possibly MUDs. The expression online chat comes from the word chat which means "informal conversation".

Off-topic
A contribution is on-topic if it is within the bounds of the current discussion and off-topic if not. The terms are normally used in the context of mailing lists, discussion groups, discussion forums, bulletin boards, newsgroups, and wikis.
It is a common courtesy to mark a new off-topic posting or email by beginning it with "OT"[citation needed] - for example in a forum discussing the Linux operating system someone might post: "OT: Wow, did you feel that earthquake?".
The term "off topic" is also used to indicate a discussion venue where anything other than matters specifically addressed by the website/mailing list/discussion group in question is addressed. For example, an off topic category on an automobile related discussion forum may include talk about video games (which presumably have nothing to do with automobiles). There are a variety of sites dedicated entirely to random discussion that have nothing to do with anything and off-topic posting is the norm. On the other hand are specific subject groups and lists where it is generally considered bad form and a breach of netiquette to discuss any topic that is not germane to the group.
Off topic posters include individual members of topic-specific groups who use the mailing list as a forum to espouse their support or dissent of issues or causes that have nothing to do with the reason the group has assembled.
Posting off-topic messages to deliberately aggravate other members is referred to as "trolling", and is common in some forums.

Moderator
The moderators (short singular form: "mod") are users (or employees) of the forum which are granted access to the posts and threads of all members for the purpose of moderating discussion (similar to arbitration) and also keeping the forum clean (neutralising spam and spambots etc). Because they have access to all posts and threads in their area of responsibility, it is common for a friend of the site owner to be promoted to moderator for such a task. Moderators also answer users' concerns about the forum, general questions, as well as respond to specific complaints.[17] Moderators themselves may have ranks: some may be given mod privilege over only a particular topic or section, while others (called 'global' or 'super') may be allowed access anywhere. Common privileges of moderators include: deleting, merging, moving, and splitting of posts and threads; locking, renaming, stickying of threads; banning, Suspending, unsudpending, unbanning, warning the members; or adding, editing, removing the polls of threads.
