foarte bine spus.asta era spiritul omului.desi respingea metalele(privea cu mefienta muzica dincoace de jumatatea anilor'90),o facea calm si argumentat,fara ura si manie.

azi a fost o editie speciala Teleenciclopedia dedicata lui Pittis; o sa-mi fie dor de vocea lui. decat sa citeasca cine stie cine in locul lui, as prefera reluarile emisiunii. :(

eu stiam ca era radioul lui. vorbea mai mereu despre el la tv. e foarte bun, nu neaparat ca radio, dar ca stream online; sunt niste albume foarte rare, mai ales romanesti cum ar fi Talitha Qumi de exemplu

Nu-l pomeneste nimeni pe Pavarotti? am asteptat s-o faca altii, fani mai fideli decat mine, dar daca pana la ora asta nu s-a inghesuit nimeni, ma infig eu, fiindca nu se poate sa fie uitat
cu siguranta tenorul secolului, Pavarotti s-a stins din viata azi dimineata si nimic nu e mai trist decat sa te trezesti cu strile zilei si sa afli ca s-a mai dus un artist. :(

Well, ASTA face parte din viata, iar artistul era sarit de 70 de ani. RIP.

L-am väzut pe balconul ultimului etaj de la Inter, în 11 august 1999, privind Eclipsa... De jos, de unde eram noi, se distingea doar un mic punct roz - cämasa pe care o purta în acea zi. Venise nu numai la eclipsä, ci si sä sustinä celebrul concert de la Bucuresti.

aznoapte derulam canalele tv pentru a ajunge la Viasat TV 1000.. trec peste CNN si prind cu coada ochiului o stire de pe banda lor scrisa: Colin McRae... dead...

deja trecusem de CNN... sa fiu!... m-am uitat repede inspre raftul cu dvduri si mi-am oprit ochii pe putinele mele jocuri originale pe care mi le-am luat in cei doi-trei ani de usoare activitati XBOX... printre ele Colin McRae Rally 3 si 4. un tip pe care l-am simpatizat inca de cind concura in WRC... primul pilot britanic invingator in WRC, in 95, cu Subaru. la 27, cel mai tinar pilot care sa fi iesit campion. avea acum 39 de ani... elicopter prabusit...
inca nu au fost indentificate cadavrele gasite.. insa e foarte probabil ca pilotul sa se fi aflat la bord...

A murit David Ohanesian

Baritonul David Ohanesian a incetat din viata duminica seara, la varsta de 80 de ani. Ohanesian a studiat si a activat in primii ani in Cluj-Napoca, iar apoi s-a mutat in Bucuresti. Au urmat apoi ani in care a cantat pe marile scene ale lumii alaturi de Pavarotti, Montserrat Caballe, Placido Domingo, Leontyne Price sau Brigitt Nilsson. Cel mai vestit rol interpretat de el a fost cel al lui Oedip, din opera cu acelasi nume compusa de George Enescu.

Potrivit NewsIn, celebrul bariton a absolvit Academia de muzica “Gheorghe Dima” din Cluj in 1953 si a primit diploma Conservatorului “C. Porumbescu” din Bucuresti in 1963. In cariera sa a cantat pe cele mai mari scene ale lumii, alaturi de artisti precum Placido Domingo, Leontyne Price, Birgitt Nilsson sau Arta Florescu.

A fost prim solist al Operei Romane din Cluj intre 1950 si 1958, iar din 1977 a devenit prim solist al Operei Romane din Bucuresti. A fost artist invitat la Opera din Hamburg intre 1968 si 1977, unde i-a avut ca parteneri de scena, printre altii, pe Luciano Pavarotti sau Montserrat Caballe.

A realizat peste 2.000 de spectacole de opera si mai mult de 40 de roluri, dintre care memorabil romane cel al lui Oedip, din opera "Oedip" de George Enescu, pe care l-a interpretat pe scene de la Paris, Atena, Berlin, Sofia, Stockholm, Moscova sau Lausanne.

Ohanesian a fost decorat cu Steaua Romaniei in grad de Comandor, a fost Doctor Honoris Causa al Universitatilor “Gh. Dima” din Cluj-Napoca, “George Enescu” din Iasi si “Babes-Boyai” din Cluj-Napoca.

Another living legend of the Romanian Opera died

Bucharest - The famous Romanian baritone David Ohanesian has deceased on Sunday afternoon, at the age of 80, in his dwelling from Bucharest, will be buried on Wednesday in the Armenian Cemetery in Bucharest.

Today, his body will be deposed in the hall of the National Opera of Bucharest (ONB), as ONB representatives declared. According to these, David Ohanesian ceased to live on Sunday, at 15:00 o’clock, as a result of a heart attack, at the Universitary Hospital of Bucharest. He was 80 years old.

The body of the artist will be placed on Tuesday, from 12:00 to 17:00 o’clock, in the hall of the National Opera.

He will be buried on Wednesday, at 12:00, at the Armenian Cemetery, located on the Pantelimonului Highway.

Born on January 6, 1927, David Ohanesian was an impressive personality of the Romanian and the international lyrical stage, as part of the Golden Triad of the Greatest Romanian Baritones, along with Octav Enigarescu and Nicolae Herlea.

From 1950 to 1958, he was main soloist of the Romanian Opera of Cluj-Napoca, and afterwards, until 1977, he was main soloist of the Romanian Opera of Bucharest. During 1968-1977, he was an invited artist of the Opera of Hamburg, where he performed together with impressive names of the international lyrical art, such as Luciano Pavarotti and Monserrat Caballe. He is well-known as the most celebrated “Oedip” of the twentieth century, an opera he performed in for the first time in Romania, in 1958, during the first In 1999, the artist received the “Doctor Honoris Causa” title at the “Gheorghe Dima” Music Academy of Cluj-Napoca, and, a year later, he was awarded National Order of the Romanian Star. In November 2006, the baritone David Ohanesian received the “Doctor Honoris Causa” title of the “Ovidius” University from Constanta. David Ohanesian was distributed as “Oedip” in the homonymous opera composed by George Enescu in Paris, Athens, Berlin, Sofia, Stockholm, Moscow, Lausanne, Wiessbaden. His career included over 2000 performances.

The Culture and Religious Denominations Minister, Adrian Iorgulescu, bemoaned on Monday the death of the celebrated baritone David Ohanesian, expressing his opinion that the role Oedip from the homonymous opera of George Enescu, performed by the artist who has recently deceased, is matchless. “It is an enormous loss for the Romanian culture and music, as, beyond his human qualities, his warmth anh honesty - even when being uncomfortable, his voice was one of the most famous and most easily recognizable from the last century”, Iorgulescu said. The Culture Minister also praised the acting skills of the great artist who, on the stage of the National Opera or international tours, deeply entered the characters he was playing, and identified himself with Oedip, which is “matchless”, as performed by David Ohanesian.
