I can not help myself in agreeing with everyone who thought this movie is bad. It is and although I shouldn't be apologizing for this movie, I will do it. It is strange but I am sure that people who's seen the director's cut were really pleased. I am not trying to find an excuse for it, but I need to say that nothing came out as it was intended to be. The movie I've done was as good as it could be out of a poor story as such. Does anybody know a thing about studio movies? All I could say is that if in Romania I could get an Alan Smithee credit I was probably among others like Sidney Lumet, Dennis Hopper, Orson Wells and many other Directors who made film history. I couldn't. Even the choice of being taken out of the credits was denied to me, as my presence to the premiere was. And this is a sincere review of someone who knows what this job is all about from all aspects of it.
