Hi Alex, i hope to pay more than SAG minimum for the feature this summer + some points (is there a Romanian SAG equivalent?).

For the scurt metraj i can't, i have to pay off my 4000$ camera :( but i would supply food and drinks etc. I am also willing to shoot an actor doing a monologue or something for their own CV if they would like in exchange.

Also i can guarantee any short we make will be seen by 100,000 people+ entered for festivals etc.

The camera we have now is a DVX100B PAL.


"Aveti operator imagine" operator imagine = Director of photography? if so, we don't have anyone trained/educated in that no.

OK, the basic plot is that an impaled body is found in Cismigiu by two cops, (Petre Stoian a 25yrs+ veteran and his new partner Gheorghe Popescu)

Popescu, horrified by the victims pain and screams, breaks down and shoots the impaled victim. The police hush it up while they task Stoian with finding the culprit before the impaling becomes public.

More impaled bodies turn up and the police manage to surpress the news, until a body is impaled on the pitch in Ghencea football stadium during a floodlight "failure" in a match between Steaua and Rapid live on television.

While investigating the impalings Stoian finds out that several of the victims were involved in the disappearence of his brother and sister in law pre-1989 and that they were all members, at some level, with the securitate.

Evidence also points at his ex-partner (and now police chief) having been involved, the same man who is now pressuring Stoian to solve the crimes.

Stoian is torn between his duty to catch The Impaler or letting him continue to kill , convinced that this will bring him the answer to his brothers disappearence and long overdue punishment to those responsible.

Hello mate.

The special effects etc can be done for almost nothing, and look good as anything you see in professional movies. I have even designed an impaling stake that is adjustable to give the impression of the victim sliding down it.

Any costs would be for the actors, a few pieces of professional equipement (like a 35mm lense) and paying someone for a couple of cop uniforms and the hire of a cop car. Sound recorders and engineers are already secured....unless there is someone better out there who is interested.

Heres an example of what can be done with a few friends and a simple green screen, effects-wise and impaling effects are much easier.

Asta mic, englez, face un film p-aici, sau intentioneaza. Cauta oameni pentru filmuletzul lui (e un scurt metraj deocamdata) - actori, operator, ce sa mai echipa. Ideea e ca nu prea are lovele si lumea nu prea se inghesuie s-o faca moca.

(don't know the Romanian for this, but...) anyone appearing in one of our scurt metraj or who helps WILL get paid for it when we get the budget for the full length movie this summer, and will also get a role in that movie of some kind if they desire. Believe that or not as you wish, but our name will be mud now if it doesn't happen :)

We really do want to get a reliable team together that will hopefully stick together and work on into the future.

da cred ca as fi de acord daca totul e ok si nu intervine nimic pana atunci.
o veste buna pt mine e ca mi-am depus astazi banuti in cont pt taxa la facultate.maine duc foaia de plata.mi-am luat de pe sufletel aceasta dificultate.faza e ca imi va mai fi necesar banuti pt mine si taxe pt a ma intretine etc.am avut bafta si am convins-o pe sora mea sa imi trimeata 100 de euro desi nu statea nici ea bine cu banuti si mi-a mai trimis o cunostinta din italia 200 de euro.uf sunt mai linistita si sper sa dorm mai bine.
