Sinopsis Nicolae Ceausescu: The Unrepentant Tyrant

Profile of Nicolae Ceausescu, Romania's Communist dictator for 24 years. He fell from being a respected leader to being a despised despot. For years, the nation lived under the fear of a secret police. However, in 1989, Ceausescu ordered the army to fire on the people and the army refused. Nicolae and his wife Elena were tried by a kangaroo court and executed by firing squad.
