Ida, un film despre identitate, familie, credinţă, a câştigat sâmbătă titlul de Cel mai bun film european al anului, în cadrul prestigioaselor premii oferite de Academia Europeană de Film. Producţia, care a rulat în cinematografele noastre în luna noiembrie (mai poate fi văzută în Târgu Mureş), dar şi în cadrul unor festivaluri (TIFF, Bucharest IFF) şi zile de film (Zilele Filmului Polonez) a câştigat nu doar inima membrilor Academiei Europene de Film, ci şi pe cea a publicului, obţinând şi trofeul People's Choice Award. „Am vrut să fac un film despre istorie, care să nu pară un film istoric, un film moral care nu oferă lecţii, am vrut să spun o poveste în care toată lumea are motivele ei, o poveste mai aproape de poezie decât de o intrigă.
