Nicolas Winding Refn on the films and his experience: It's been a fantastic year. With regard to Mommy, it was a wonderful film, a technical revolution. Now everyone can create a story, a film, there are no more excuses.

Jia Zhangke was moved by the Awards: As a director, I couldn't fail to be inspired by all these films. A moment of grace also emerged, thanks to Mr Jean-Luc Godard's film and the one by Xavier Dolan.

Dolan, you had my curiosity, but now you have my attention, ca sa zic asa. Simbolica, poate, si alaturarea de pensionabilul nostru drag: On the same day, Cannes managed to screen the film by the youngest director in the competition (Dolan) and the oldest (Godard). It’s funny. Both feel like the future. (Wesley Morris)
