Citisem un interviu cu supervisor-ul efectelor speciale din Chronicle si uite ce spunea:

The superhero genre is a good comparison, which I think has too much money. Having these large budgets is removing the innovation from the project. Capping the budget is a way to force that ingenuity and innovation into the project, which I think does come across. I think "Chronicle" has that feel of being a higher-budget film than it is, but it always has a kind of edginess to it at the same time.

Cred ca a pus punctul pe i,cu cat e bugetul mai mare cu atat mai fals arata CGI-il, desi regula nu se aplica tot timpul.
Daca n-ai vazut Chronicle inca trebuie sa spun ca s-au axat mai mult pe efecte practice si se vede lucrul asta iar cele CGI chiar arata bine,tinand cont ca bugetul filmului a fost de doar 12 milioane.
Alt exemplu de CGI realist e cel din District 9,care a avut buget de doar 30 de milioane.
Cand s-a hotarat Lucas sa foloseasca green screen la toate cele 3 prequel-uri Star Wars s-a dus pe apa sambetei farmecul filmelor pentru ca statea in efectele practice.
Ca tot suntem pe subiect,Noomi Rapace spunea intr-un interviu despre Prometheus ca s-au folosit numai efecte practice,evident acolo unde s-a putut.
John Carter o fi fost primul aparut dar cum ai zis si tu,doar pe hartie,iar Star Wars a aparut pe ecran,drept urmare toate laudele s-au dus catre el pentru ca lumea nu citeste!
