Now celebrating our sixth anniversary year, the PAGE International Screenwriting Awards competition was established in the fall of 2003 by an alliance of Hollywood producers, agents, and development executives. Our goal: to discover the most exciting new scripts by up-and-coming writers from across the country and around the world. And due to the success of our past winners, the PAGE Awards have rapidly become one of the most important sources for new screenwriting talent within the Hollywood community and worldwide.

OUR MISSION

It’s a Catch 22… While producers and agents continually complain that they can’t find good material, talented writers who live outside Los Angeles and have no “connections” within the movie industry find it virtually impossible to penetrate the barriers of the Hollywood system.

The PAGE International Screenwriting Awards contest was designed to bridge that gap – giving new screenwriters the opportunity to get their scripts into the hands of industry professionals, while also serving as a much-needed resource for Hollywood producers, agents, and studio execs who are searching for quality material.

Our judges will be presenting a total of 31 Awards in this year’s screenwriting contest – including a $25,000 Grand Prize – plus Gold, Silver and Bronze Prizes in ten different genre categories. All told, this year’s Winners will receive over $50,000 in Cash and Prizes. And most importantly, in conjunction with our co-sponsors InkTip, SellAScript, and The TV Writers Vault, we will actively publicize and promote your winning script, giving you a shot at the ultimate prize – the chance to become a working screenwriter in Hollywood.

You may also request Judge’s Feedback from your First Round judge. For a fee of $70, your judge will take the extra time to write you several pages of detailed thoughts and ideas about your screenplay, along with an explanation of how your script scored and why, and once the Quarter-Finalists are announced we will email these notes to you.
