Interesant ca situatia mea se aseamana mult cu cea a lui Kate Winslet.Imi amintesc ca ma uitam la o gramada de filme cand eram mica si apoi ma puneam sa imit personajele in fata oglinzii si sa imi imaginez cum ar fi daca as lua un premiu pentru interpretare
. Cel mai mult imi placea sa ma costumez in Zorro...aveam o capa improvizata,o masca si o sabie de lemn...don't ask why,I have no idea. Difuzau pe vremuri un serial la tv si m-am indragostit imediat de el...my childhood was strange

Oscar acceptance speech
[Alexandra is sitting on her chair,relaxed,chewing gum,until a clip from her movie is shown on the screen,announcing her nomination.She makes a grimace and looks down,almost embarrassed]
And the Oscar for best actress in a leading role goes to...Alexandra!!
[Alexandra is in utter shock,it takes her seconds to realize that she actually won. You can read "Oh my God!" on her lips. She walks towards the stage,throwing both fists in the air. On the way,she gives Johnny Depp a hug :happy:.
Alexandra: Oh...my....God! I...I.. am in shock right now.Don't know what to say.
[cough][cough].Bugger,I had to swallow the gum! Are you sure there isn't a hidden camera somewhere?
[laughs]. As a matter of fact, I don't know what's more amazing...winning this award or being hugged by Johnny Depp!
[Looks at the statuette]. Wow man...Happy Birthday! You're heavy...and old...and bald....ah,nevermind,I'll kiss you anyway
[kisses the Oscar statuette]. When I first heard of my nomination...I thought the Academy was nuts. And here I am,one month later...still thinking the same! I am not sure how did this happen... It's an amazing honor for me to receive this Award! I want to thank everybody who supported me and followed me on this obstacle road, who believed in my strength and gave me the motivation to continue doing this. I had ups and downs,but now I am touching the sky and enjoying every moment of it! Also,I want to thank God for lightening up my dark tunnel. Ehhh...is my time up? That timer is too far,can't see a damn thing
[laughs].Ok,ok.Don't play the music yet,I'll finish in an instant! I was raised in a country which wasn't big enough for my dreams to fit in and then I had the chance to live the American Dream...and I took it, but I didn't forget my people,so this is for all the Romanians out there: Acest premiu este pentru voi,pentru toti actorii romani care ani de-a randul au dat tot ce a fost mai bun din ei si nu au primit recunoasterea pe care o meritau! Thank you Academy!
[prepares to leave the stage, but quickly returns]. Oh...I almost forgot....thank you Mr. Depp for being my inspiration as an actor and human being! I promised myself that I will dedicate to you my first award! Bless you! Now Academy,please give this man an Oscar too, or we will riot!
