cred ca in paragraful de mai jos e reprezentativ pentru constructia lui Pitbull despre Passions:

Yes, THIS is how he should have looked. But, ON SCREEN, it looks false. The camera does NOT see reality as it is, it's always adding a new dimension - and this dimension can sometimes instill an apparent falseness to an otherwise faithful reality. In truth, a man such tortured DOES look like a skinned pig - but NEVER as a Messiah! He's REPULSIVE, not faith inspiring. And, in a movie, he doesn't even look real anymore - he looks forced and aesthetically hysteric.

independent de cinematografie, cate nici nu a mai contat pentru mine dat fiind subiectul (gresit abordat la nivel conceptual in opinia mea), as spune ca passions e un film ratat deoarece:
daca paradigma mesianica o exemplifici prin suferinta fizica (adica in dimensiune umana!)... pai atunci is cel putin alte mii de cazuri mai bune, mai utile unei astfel de abordari!
apoi, if u wanna f.uck the christian dogmatism - well, atunci discuti povestea intr-un teren religios unde opui figura christica demersurilor religioase institutionale si institutionalizate...
