Eu nu ma refeream la durata luptei ci la eficienta luptatorilor morti, desi you also have a point.

About the Film:
Ancanar is an original story, a tale set in a land of growing fear and evil, in a time awaiting the onslaught of the great storm of war.
This film is being made for and by the true fans of J.R.R. Tolkien. Professor Tolkien has been an inspiration to millions, bringing to life a world forgotten and heroes of lost song. We continually strive to keep the spirit of his work alive in our own.
Where We Are:
This site (and many of you) have been around for a long time, and we felt it necessary to explain what's going on with the film.
We began this little production in 1999, as two people, with only $20,000 and a Canon XL-1. At the time, we just wanted to see if making a fantasy film within these constraints was possible, with no ultimate goal in mind. Ancanar.com went online in the Summer of 2000, to document the process and possibly inspire others to follow similar aspirations. There was no way to prepare for what happened next.
Within a year's time, we had hundreds of thousands of fans, spanning across the globe. Conventions were asking for appearances. Magazines were asking for articles. Our trailer was downloaded millions of times. While this was a humbling welcome, it also made us very nervous: We weren't able to film a lot of the script that we wanted to, due to budget constraints, so the film couldn't be finished. This was a MiniDV feature shot for under 20k, and expectations were high.
The Spring of 2003 gave us incredible hope. There was considerable interest in re-shooting the film, with a studio budget. This would mean all the scenes that were incomplete, the big battle, the Elven mountains, the Rammoth tower, could be done. Not only that, they could be done right. It was a filmmaker's dream.
Currently, we have teamed up with producer Barry Opper to make sure this dream becomes a reality. He has been wonderfully helpful and supportive, believing in the project as much as ourselves. Nothing is in stone at present, but we are making progress daily. I'm sorry we can't say more; stay tuned to this site for future updates.
In the end, all we want to do is tell a great story. It's amazing that two people, who started with so little, have gotten so far - it is in no small thanks to you all that we have done so.
Sincerely,
Sam Balcomb & Raiya Corsiglia, filmmakers
