It's now official. There will be an animated theatrical movie based on television's The Simpsons. A spokeswoman for the series said Wednesday that the show's principal voice actors and a team of its writers had signed on for the project. Antonia Kaughman told MTV News that they will be working on the movie at the same time that they will continue to work on the TV show -- that fans won't have to wait until the series vanishes from the air. "Now we're going to get the best of both worlds, evidently," Kaughman said. She added that series creator Matt Groening "just kind of laughs, because we always said there was no way to pull the writers off or go hire writers that haven't worked on the show. ... They finally worked out a movie team, a team of the writers, because we could never hire outside writers -- they had to be Simpsons writers, and most of them were working on the show. Well, they finally put this team together that has time on the side, and they've been working on the script." She said that the project was only in its infancy and that there is "no release date -- we don't have the animation house lined up yet." Separately, Nancy Cartwright, who plays Bart Simpson, said on BBC Radio: "I don't know the name of [the movie], and I can't go into details about it, and we'll just have to see how it goes, but I think it's going to be great and the fans are going to dig it."

Simpsons sunt cele mai tari desene animate ever,nu cred ca o sa mai iasa altele mai bune.Daca numai la un episod te tavalesti pe jos de ras,e ceva de neinteles cum pot regizorii serialului sa scoata pe fiecare episod cate un scenariu asa de bun ,criminal nu gluma . :))

tel publica se da mare ca-l da .Da ma intreb de banii care-i dam nu putea sa cumpere si ea ceva mai recent? Adica banii care-i dam nu-i ajung decat pentru sezonul din 1996 ? Pacat

am auzit la radio, cum ca in feb 2012, apare episodul 500 din The Simpsons :) si cu aceasta ocazie, in Hollywood la intersectia a doua bulevarde, pe un ecran, timp de aproximativ 86 de ore, vor rula toate episoadele The Simpsons incepand cu primul si terminand cu numarul 500 :)
