:( povestile trebuie lasate sa respire.

@Smeagol:

Uneori Tolkien trebuie citit la fel k Shakespeare - shi dk pe Shakespeare in cerci sa-l intzelegi 100% ... good luck with dat! ;)

Good News Bad News Scenario:

The ad notes the inclusion of the "highly anticipated confrontation with Saruman" and the 50 minutes of extended footage.

Separate from the Extended Edition 4 disc set is the Collector's DVD Gift Set, also with a street date of December 14. This contains the 4-disc Extended DVD edition, Minas Tirth polystone keepsake box, and Bonus DVD, "Creating the Lord of the Rings Symphony" by Howard Shore.

Extensive TV, radio, and print advertising planned during the holiday shopping period.

ROTK Extended Edition: DVD suggested retail is $39.99, VHS suggested retail is $24.99

Discutzie pe forum strain la LOTR:

I was driving around my town the other day, bored out of my mind and just killing time. Well anyway, I had to drop my cousin of of at his house. Now, you're probably asking yourself, "What does this have to do with LOTR?" Well, my cousin lives in a community thats less than five years old. So when I'm driving around this semi-new development, I saw an area called Rivendell Court. OK..fine. Then, I see two more places called Lindon Ave and Mirkwood Ave. So I dropped him off and rode around in the country-side of this county and saw a spot called Lothlorien Lane. Then finally, I saw a Bree Road and a Buckland Place and then it hit me right then that these names were right out of LOTR.

In other fictional stories and movies, we see dwarfs/midgets, elves and wizards all the time. We all have read stories that are filled with imagery with offset lands and characters that are good and bad. What I'm wondering is that could LOTR be the "blueprint" for all other stories and films that came after it? Also, when land developers and whoever decided on a street name....did they name these roads and avenues after lands in LOTR intentionally or what? What do you all think? Do you think these street names and stories were all coincidences or did these people have LOTR in mind when nameing streets or when they were making up stories on their own."

And these communties were built before the films came out....so they must have taken them from the books."

Smagol-Gollum 12 Sep 2004 01:35

chiar ca suna naspa! :D
si in plus la noi nu merge pt ca numele astea sunt englezesti, si deci nu prea merg in romania/romana

O coincidenta interesanta

Am gasit zilele trecute, absolut intamplator, celebra epopee indiana Ramayana.

O coincidenta interesanta, nu-i asa?

evenstar 14 Sep 2004 12:49

to all

We'll see....
A, si inca o chestie: TTT in premiera pe HBO, duminica, 19 septembrie, ora 20!
:w00t:
Now waiting for ROTK extended...
